Year 32 👑 Continuing into my womanhood believing in myself more than ever.

📍I took these pictures on my own at this gorgeous boutique hotel named VERDE by @dreamers.welcome in San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Now if someone else was taking my pictures, I would have gotten NOTHING like this 😅. I’m sure they would have all been dumb and awkward. But that’s why I’m telling y’all… JUST GRAB THE TRIPOD! The confidence, and comfort I have when I’m taking pictures on my own is unmatched 💕.

These pictures are a bitttt spicy 🌶️, so I’m a little nervous to post them… but shittt I’m grown! 🤭.

📍🇵🇷 Snapping self portraits at VERDE by @dreamers.welcome in San Juan, PR 😍🩵. This boutique hotel truly blew my mind. I stayed at 4 different places on this trip, and this was by far my favorite! The stone, lighting, and architecture of the bathroom spaces were incredible. Just wait until you see the shower/soaking tub 🙂‍↔️.

📍 @elpuntovegano - First time tying Mofongo 🌹 vegan style with Portobello Mushroom. The experience and food was 10/10, absolutely beautiful!

Mofongo is a Puerto Rican dish traditionally made with mashed fried green plantains, fresh garlic, olive oil, and chicharron (pork cracklings). But luckily I found this vegan gem of a restaurant to stop at, so I was able to experience the cuisine of the culture 😍.

I also had the Cheesy Garlic Bread, which had me needing to control myself 😅. I had to chill because it was just the appetizer! The house salad… was ALSO delicious. It had a tasty dressing and I’m assuming like a seasoned tofu crumble 😍.

If you plan to visit Cataño, or San Juan, @elpuntovegano needs to be on your list, whether you’re vegan or not 🔥.

In the last picture I started getting embarrassed because the camera shutter noise! It was set to take 10 pictures 😭. I’m still getting used to just grabbing the tripod myself! I’m also getting used to taking pictures and recording myself in public. I’m so awkward, and so used to my own comfort zone. BUT it’s time to get out of that because I’m going to live my life, and take up space now 🥹💞. If you feel similar, be sure to follow @thec_roll ✨.

📍 NOA by @dreamers.welcome in San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. This bathroom was my absolute favorite part of this stay, just look at how gorgeous, and unique. These are the types of properties/air bnb’s I value, because they already make a statement, or set a mood. As a creative, this is IT 😍.

MOODY vibes . The architecture . Color Combination 🔥.

Lately, I’ve been focusing more on the composition of my photos, keeping in mind the Rule of Thirds. I’ve been loving the way it still allows the surrounding beauty to be seen, further pulling everything together; creating a deeper story.

I’m still very much a novice when it comes to self portraits/ photography. But I’ve had a Canon M50 for 5+ years now and really want to take my skills to the next level. I would love to be able to capture the raw beauty of the places I travel to, with and without me in frame. New style unlocked! 🥹🥰 I got my hair done while I was in Puerto Rico @mysunnybraids and it was an amazing decision.

📍 I had to get over my anxiety and snap some pics real quick at Condado Beach this day 😅 (previous post). I was making it a mission to feel like THAT GIRL 💖 again this birthday, because she’s been tucked away for some time 😭.

Also, I will be slowly but surely turning this into a travel + photography account. I know I have made quite a few transitions on this page, and I appreciate everyone who has supported me 💞.
