Life updates: I try to be funny on stage from time to time, and endometriosis is a bitch.

At the start of March (and coincidentally endometriosis awareness month), I finally got answers via laparoscopic surgery after more than a decade of debilitating chronic pain and medical gaslighting — it wasn’t in my head, I have endometriosis. A lot of it!

Endometriosis affects as many as 1 in 10 people born with a uterus. And yet it is woefully underfunded and under researched (here’s looking at you, $1.24 billion for boner pills). While I am so grateful for the care I’ve received, it’s clear that we don’t need stronger patients, we need a better system. #endometriosisawarenessmonth by @kaleenex

I will never forget the moment dancing like an idiot to “Time to Pretend,” the last song played at our wedding, only to open my eyes to an overwhelm of love and gratitude from everyone in the room. A wedding truly takes a village. From a mother who selflessly and meticulously put together 12 perfect centerpieces, to a best friend who baked a hundred unbelievably delicious cake jars no questions asked (hi @madelynminette), to all who traveled near and far, and of course, to a group of the best bridesmaids — all of whom are sisters to me — I am so blessed and my heart is so full. by @kaleenex
