Awesome to be featured in the first edition for 2026 of Fairlady’s HOT 🔥 magazine alongside @sihle_pennyndlela and others talking about solo travel.

That said, I love travelling to meet my friends and with my friends the most, but most of us can also travel solo, because as Softa would say, we are sharks and not about that tuna life 🤣 #HOT #SoloTravel #LoveToTravel 💛 #NowOrNever by @karabo.morule

Thank you for all the wonderful birthday WhatsApp messages, calls and DMs 💛✨🤗. This photo is from back in early in November 2025 in Lagos, and I also enjoyed an awesome throwback Stories montage from my sister but I’ve spent the day with my faves (my parents), enjoying some sun and swimming 🏊‍♀️ , realising I share a birthday with another legend Greta Thunberg and I’m looking forward to braai’d meat for dinner, some 🍾 and 🎂!

And if I haven’t wished you yet, wishing you an amazing 2026!

A beautiful evening at the Johannesburg book launch of @thedanjuma’s book Waka Waka of his travels of our beautiful continent, images of us just being. Wonderful to be featured in an image in the book from a lunch which @debolalagos convened, almost a year ago to the day (19 Dec 2024) which is where I met Danj. Also wonderful to meet cover star @huguitoni ☺️

Congrats again on this book @thedanjuma and can’t wait to watch the special on a streaming service soon! 🤩 by @karabo.morule

Albeit brief, I had such a lovely time connecting with my @younggloballeaders family in Windhoek last week, for Day 1 of Namibia learning journey. Even though the process at the airport took longer than I expected, I didn’t want to miss the visit to parliament and it didn’t disappoint! Learning from Prof Peter Katjavivi about the struggle, how he met Joe Modise while crossing borders, how Namibia’s parliament achieved gender equity, the early days of the transition to democracy after apartheid and occupation by apartheid South Africa was remarkable! Then we got to visit parliament with deputy speaker Hon Phillipus Katamelo and fellow YGL Hon Emma Theofelus.

Then got to ride in the official transport for the trip ☺️ and had dinner with the group.

The next day, had breakfast and said my goodbyes before visiting @theprojectroomnamibia, which was busy with an exhibition installation but I was able to see some works and this wonderful publication about 28 years of printmaking in Namibia, with John Muafengejo being the most well-known to me.

Heading back to the hotel, the driver took the courtesy to point out the South African High Commission “in case guns start blazing” 😂

I had chatted with some of the drivers and hotel staff and got to know about the Damara, Caprivians and what brings everyone to Windhoek and was intrigued to see this map from the 1900s on a Twitter account I follow which posts about SA 🇿🇦 history and was delirious with joy to see Pitsane on the map, which is where I spent some time last Saturday (6 December) with my Morule family in Botswana celebrating an uncle’s 74th birthday.

Thank you @mnyu.pe for arranging an excellent trip! taken in Windhoek, Namibia by @karabo.morule

A striking building 😍… and its architect!

After an epic long weekend for the @capitalartofficial curated tour in Lagos, it was such a wonderful morning yesterday spent with @jesscastellote (also Director of the Museum) at @shyllonmuseum to see the “Collecting Now: Perspectives on Contemporary Art Collecting in Nigeria” exhibition which featured works by six Nigerian collectors… and the many other works of Prince Yemisi Shillong and the works of many notable Nigerian artists - what a treat.

And being the sister and friend to many architects, I always love experiencing the beautiful art in the built environment that is their work, and loved seeing the details in how this wonderful private museum was considered and elevates the work it does inside.

Please set aside time to see it if you’re in and around Lagos 🤩 - every art lover and anyone with a thirst for knowledge about our art history should! taken in Pan-Atlantic University by @karabo.morule
