Friends & family, I have many exciting life updates to share with you!

I have been in a long season of prayer, waiting, & discerning in community an invitation that God has given me to step into vocational ministry. Which is both a huge step of faith and also so incredibly life-giving and exciting!

I wish I could testify just in this caption the many miraculous ways that God has revealed Himself & walked with me in fresh ways these past two years. God is so much bigger, more powerful, and more radically loving and beautiful than I think I ever imagined.

The past two years, I have had the honor of serving as Communications Director at Gospel Community Church in Lynchburg, VA. And as of this week, I have now stepped out of that role and into a support-raised Ministry Residency within this same church community.

I will get to serve, lead, and be developed in areas of prayer ministry, creativity, evangelism, and other areas of teaching and shepherding and spiritual formation. What an absolute gift and challenge this next season will be!

I will also be pursuing my Master’s in Biblical Studies & Theological Foundations with Western Seminary online. My classes start next week!

I am currently in the process of building a Ministry Team to come alongside me in prayer, financial support, and celebrate along the way all that God is up to. I can’t do this alone, and I don’t want to.

Simple moments of beauty & joy in 2025 I never want to forget.

I could share so many stories of the really good and really hard things this past year. Bought my first house. Travelled internationally alone for the first time. Friends. Family. Adventures. The day to day.

But most of all could share stories upon stories of God’s faithfulness, presence, goodness, & mercy. The miracles I’ve seen & heard. His nearness & kindness. Awe of Him.

Life to the full! This past year has been formative, healing, hard, sweet, overwhelming, and simultaneously such a restoration of joy that only God could provide.

Joined staff last summer @gcclynchburg, traveled to visit friends + fam, celebrated many friends that got married, became a Virginia resident, went on so many adventures, and joined the sweetest community in Lynchburg! Pictured here or not, very thankful for every one of my people🤍

Jesus really is the way, truth, & life just like He says. Ask Him to come and He will. Seek Him and He will be found. This past year is a testament to just that.

This past year has been eventful and refining, and I wanted to share a few of my favorite snapshots from along the way. Whether mundane or breathtaking, God has been in every moment. I have learned a whole lot this year about just how small I am in God’s greater story but how much deeper His love runs for me than I could ever imagine!

Here are some life updates:
• My family adopted two puppies! Welcome Piper and Olive💛
• God has continued to provide the opportunity for me to work full-time with @katemitchell.creative !
• And last but not least, I will be moving back to Lynchburg, Virginia at the end of this June🎉🎉

And then we were National Champs in St. Louis!

It was an incredible honor to compete nationally with the Liberty Advertising Team as a designer! I love these people so much, and I am so proud of the campaign that we made for our client, Indeed.

What an experience this was. I will miss you all, and I look forward to seeing you again soon🥰

Could not be more thankful for my 4 years at @libertyuniversity ! I am leaving this place a different person than when I first arrived as a freshman, and Lynchburg will always have a piece of my heart.

It is insane to think that I will graduate tomorrow Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications and minors in Graphic Design, Photography, and Studio Arts. Thank you to my family, friends, and professors/mentors who have supported me every step of the way! And all glory and thanks to God!!

I will be moving to the Charlotte, NC area post-grad, and I am excited to see what the Lord has for me there! by @katemitchell22
