And just like that, they’re 2 🥹🩷💙

The leap from 1 to 2 is jarring but it has been the most fun watching these sweet babies grow and learn this year. They started the year as babbling babies who couldn’t walk and ended the year as running, dancing, and very talkative toddlers. They love animals, music, swimming, reading, and playing with their friends at church!
Cora is the definition of “sugar, spice, and everything nice.” She is smart, funny, curious, and the perfect mix of girly and rough and tumble. She is becoming more and more independent each day! She is not afraid to let people know what she wants, but will *usually* throw in a “please” 😂
Elijah is our go with the flow, chill dude! He loves to have fun but also loves to just sit back and take everything in. He is a class clown already and will do anything for a laugh! He makes a friend everywhere we go, even if it’s a stranger at the table next to us at a restaurant.

Life with these Twinnies is so fun! We are so blessed to be their parents! by @katiereneejohnson

Summer so far ☀️
Lots of pool time, Memorial Day cookouts make Cora happy, Elijah’s new ‘do, Unpluggits, an early birthday gift, our first splash pad trip, and lots of posing for pictures in our fav Jammies from @_whimsicalthreads 🥰

Our AC has been out since Monday and my parents have so generously let us temporarily move in while we wait for it to be fixed. We are so thankful for a cool place to stay and have enjoyed lots of extra family time! by @katiereneejohnson

Year 7 has come to a close! If you know me, you know I HATE change, but at the end of last school year I took a leap of faith and took a job with Edmond Public Schools without knowing what school I’d be working at. Through a few God-orchestrated moments, I landed at Ida Freeman Elementary. I was told by several people that it is a special school and they were so right! It has been a rollercoaster of a year, but I have been continuously impressed with the way the staff rallies around each other to lend a hand or a listening ear. I have made so many incredible friends and could not be more thankful to have landed here at Ida 💙💛 I am excited for another great year next year, but for now, bring on summer! by @katiereneejohnson

Christmas Eve service, many trips to see Christmas lights, lots of snuggles, a traumatic trip to see Santa, fun with family, hundreds of books read, lots of animal noises and walking practice! It was a magical Christmas season and I wish it didn’t have to end! by @katiereneejohnson
