thank you Lord for giving me a body that can do hard things !!!

Saying I was unprepared is a massive understatement—but @runoutlast challenged me more mentally than anything I’ve ever done!! Thank you to my family for pushing me through each lap (& to my mom for literally walking the whole 5th lap with me haha). What a night!!

5K on the hour for 6 hours ✅

2016: When Eskimo Joe’s was the place to eat, Bricktown in OKC was the place to spend your Saturday night, and Laser Quest was still in business. Never did I think in 2016 as I was doing internships and research to get my chemistry degree, that ten years later I would’ve written two books with one being queried for potential publication. I would’ve never expected to meet friends from all over the world who share the same love for writing, have the opportunity to participate in workshops, and attend a writing conference. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be sharing my writing with industry professionals and other artists. 2016 you were a good one, but here’s to 2026!
