This year my birthday looks like returning to the strength I always had but, didn’t always nurture. This birthday looks like responsibility. Like the grind don’t stop but, we got a little time to celebrate 🎉😬 This birthday I move through with my tribe. When joy is a habit, love is a reflex 💗

Spending time with my littlest sis (we not blood, but we kinfolk 🤘🏽) was the reset my soul needed. I’ve learned the depth of love and friendship through our bond. A long distance friendship isn’t easy but I don’t know of anyone that knows me to this depth and maintains this curiosity. I see myself in places I’ve yet to reach because of her. She truly loves me to ascension. Spending this time, being seen, being held, being seen while being held sets my heart ablaze.

Been busy loving in the moment 💚 And now I share this moment with y’all 🫶🏽 I survived audit season (because charting in community mental health has been trying to take me out since I entered the field 😫), life (cuz it be lifing), and the day to day of motherhood (cuz them kids never wanna put their shoes on in the morning 🥹) while being a daughter, friend, a therapist, a songstress and wearing whatever hat is required fr 🥹 Shout out to my tribe for NEVER letting me forget I’m THAT girl, for being so intentional in celebrating the transition of a new year and for making sure I know I am loved wholly when life is less than glamorous. God really gave me a tribe of my own and I’d never be the same without my family, the one I was born into like the chosen family I’ve been gifted 🥹 💚 Gratitude is an understatement 🙏🏽
