At Current Electric, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.

For our owner, Chuck Smith, it all started with one family. Wanting to help Kendra and her son, Everett, led Chuck to LifeStriders, where he discovered the incredible impact equine-assisted therapy has on individuals and families. That one connection turned into a lasting commitment to volunteering and supporting an organization that’s changing lives every day.

That same heart for serving others is what drives Current Electric.

When you hire Current Electric, you’re choosing more than an electrical contractor. You’re choosing a company led by people who care deeply about their neighbors, invest in their community, and believe in doing the right thing.

Those values don’t stop at volunteering—they carry over into every service call, every installation, and every customer interaction. We believe that when you genuinely care about people, it shows in the work you do.

We’re proud to power homes across Wisconsin while supporting organizations like LifeStriders that make our communities stronger.

Thank you for trusting a company that’s committed to making a difference—both on and off the job. taken in LifeStriders by @kbulgrin

Earnest Attempts brings together the work of Kaylan Buteyn and Laura Lemna through a shared commitment to attentiveness, repair, and the visible labor of making. Rejecting the precision of hard-edge abstraction, both artists favor uneven seams, disrupted patterns, and unsteady lines that foreground the presence of the hand and the process of construction. Their works are shaped by acts of repurposing and adjustment—stitched fabric, collaged forms, and hesitant marks that embrace imperfection as a site of meaning. Through abstraction, Buteyn and Lemna seek connection: to memory and lineage, to histories of women abstract painters, and to the intuitive knowledge that emerges through experience. In this way, abstraction becomes not a fixed style but a flexible language for recording care, persistence, and earnest attempts at understanding.

kbulgrin Some juicy paint for you all this morning! I paint with m. Graham paints and walnut oil exclusively! Cuts down on the nasty stuff.

God knows I have enough crap in my body so this is one way I can try and be safer.

Going to get this painting finished ✅ 💪
