✨RPM 100✨

Team we did it! We created fitness magic on that stage💫 More importantly, we had so much fun along the way, built friendships, and made memories that will transcend a life time.

Thank you for all the laughs, tears, and love🫶🏻

A peek 👀 into my physio session with Hallie🥹🥰

She was such a champ, and the addition of using the Pilates equipment helped make physio fun for her AND helped train some positions that so closely mimic ones she is doing in gymnastics. Win-win!

I just love helping these little athletes thrive and feel good in their bodies! ❤️ There’s nothing better than teaching them to move well, build strong movement mechanics, and feel confident from an early age.

Pilates is life.

And you know I’ll always preach it for everyone, I don’t care who you are.

But…
Being stable AND strong.
Being mobile AND strong.
Being able to control your movements AND be strong.

That’s the sweet spot ✨

Because being strong is only part of the equation. And being mobile only gets you so far.

We want strength you can actually move with, control and rely on.

Pilates 🤝🏼 Strength Training

In case nobody told you - being a group fitness instructor comes with a lot more responsibility than learning the choreography.

Yes, you need to know your music.
Yes, you need to know the purpose behind what you’re delivering.
Yes, you need to be able to coach.

But you’re also responsible for the person who is nervous to be there.
The person who needs an option.
The person having a terrible day.
The person who hasn’t felt like they belonged in a fitness space before.

You’re responsible for the energy in the room.
The safety in the room.
And, in a lot of ways, the community in the room.

That’s what makes group fitness so special.

The workout matters.
But the PEOPLE matter more.

Did I miss any!?

Tag your favourite small business below and let’s share the love🥰

365 days ago two friends took a leap and opened the doors to crû.

There’s no big corporation behind us. No head office. Just two friends, a whole lot of long days, late nights, and an absolutely incredible team who shows up and pours so much into this place every day.

So when you book an appointment or a class…

We see it.

We know your name.

We notice when you’ve been away, and we genuinely care whether you had a good week.

Choosing to support our small business means more than you could ever imagine.
We are beyond grateful🤍

To our team, our community, and everyone who has been a part of our crû - we thank you ☺️

- Kim & Abbey

Ps. Make sure you check back tomorrow on crû’s birthday for some celebrations you don’t want to miss🎉🎉

Can’t seem to get past the same number of pull-ups? Try this👀

One of my favourite plateau breakers, courtesy of my favourite coach, @coreysleanliving

5 rounds:
🔥 Max wide-grip pull-ups
⏱️ 15 sec rest
🔥 Max supinated-grip pull-ups
⏱️ 15 sec rest
🔥 Max band-assisted neutral-grip pull-ups

The magic is in the fatigue + different grips. You’re pushing past the point where your first grip starts to fail, while still getting more quality reps in.

And if you’re not training pull-ups… you should be.
They’re one of the best bodyweight exercises for building back, lat, biceps and grip strength, while also demanding serious core control. They’re challenging, measurable, and there’s always another rep to chase.

Maybe a plateau is just your body telling you it’s ready for a little change. And there’s no better feeling than realizing you can move your own bodyweight a little easier than you could a few months ago💪

Give your shoulders some love!

Strength and stability here go a long way, better posture, easier movement control, and everyday activities that just feel lighter.

This Mat Pilates sequence builds it from the inside out, with intentional, controlled movements 🤍 do this routine once through, 5-8 reps per movement, per side.

There are some weekends that leave you feeling grateful. And then there are weekends that remind you exactly why you do what you do.

Last weekend at Les Mills Experience was that for me.
At the beginning of this year, when the right side of my face became paralyzed, I honestly wasn’t sure I would be here. I wasn’t sure what recovery would look like, or if my face would be able to keep up with the demands of a weekend like this - the energy, the movement, the lack of sleep, the hours, the adrenaline, the emotion.

And if I’m being honest, that thought stayed somewhere in the back of my mind all weekend.

Could my face handle this?

But somewhere along the way, I stopped thinking about it.

I was too busy soaking it all in.

The music. The movement. The rooms full of people moving together. The hugs. The laughs. The nerves. The energy. The people I only get to see once or twice a year who somehow feel like no time has passed.

And that’s when I was reminded of my why.

Group fitness has never just been about the workout for me. It’s the community. It’s the connection. It’s being surrounded by people who challenge you, inspire you, believe in you and make you want to keep showing up.
Year after year, I get to be part of something that feels so much bigger than any one class, track or stage.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been there. To present, to participate, to be surrounded by this community and, most importantly, to be present enough to actually soak it all in.

After a year that started with so much uncertainty, being there felt pretty damn special.

So grateful for this weekend.
So grateful for these people.
So grateful that I got to show up exactly where I wanted to be.

Toronto, canfitpro, my Les Mills family…you have my heart🤍🤍

What if instead of always chasing the big wins, we celebrated the small ones?

The workout you almost skipped.
The walk you went on anyway.
The healthy choice you made.
The extra rep.
Showing up when you weren’t feeling particularly motivated.

Because honestly, most progress happens in the middle. In the mundane. In the small daily choices.

That’s the 1%.

Those small daily wins are the ones that stack. That multiply. That create change we can’t see or feel immediately.

1% better, one day at a time.
