I recently travelled to India to visit our suppliers, and on a beautiful last-minute decision, we chose to shoot our winter cashmere collection there too. We found ourselves near a small farming village on the outskirts of Jaipur, the most magical setting. This wonderful local woman stopped to see what we were up to and asked if she could join the shoot. Her joy, warmth, and spirit filled the entire moment and stayed with us long after. A reminder of why we do what we do. 🌞🧡🌞

A little look at our KITANI packaging 🤍

I really wanted opening your order to feel special, so I thought about everything from the texture of the paper to how it smells.

We use 100% natural and biodegradable packaging, with no plastic. The green tissue is a little nod to nature and I chose textured card because I love how it feels in your hands.

And my favourite detail… every order is lightly scented with Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. It has the most beautiful musky, earthy smell.

Just lots of little details that I hope make opening your KITANI order feel that bit more special 🤍 by @kitani.studio

The palm tree has always been my favourite. Growing up on a farm in South Africa, they were scattered throughout our garden, and I was endlessly drawn to their quiet beauty. Funny enough, my son has the very same fascination with them. Maybe some things are simply passed down, or maybe nature has a way of capturing our hearts in the same way 🌴 taken in Mykonos Island by @kitani.studio

A look at our Press Kit ~ SS | 26 🌙🐍🌞🪬

I returned to the city that I call home, and that shaped me as a designer. Every piece in SS26 is made in Cape Town, by hand, with intention.

The collection is called Sacred Forms. Ancient symbols, natural elements and hand-drawn motifs - palms, moons, vessels, celestial shapes, crafted into natural cotton and linen and brought to life through considered embroidery.
