Possibly my most favourite interview so far 🚀 @millyturley_ Great to chat & it’s so amazing to see you @_kanelloyd grow so well. The sky is literally the limit for @velocity_activewear by @kobyecommerceequation
7 figures in 10 minutes. Absolutely insane. This will never be possible without consistent brand building & product to market fit at scale. What happened to get this result: 1. $120k on ads 2. 30% off sitewide for 24 hrs 3. Brand was already doing 7 figure months consistently 4. 20k people+ signed up for early access The ads strategy I helped them with is similar across all the other brands, but this brand did everything else tremendously well. DM me “Scale” if you want to scale your ecommerce brand. by @kobyecommerceequation
What a journey it has been. I can’t imagine what life would be like without the amazing people I get to work with at @ecommerceequation. Thank you for making the journey so worth while, and trusting me yapmaxxing about Meta ads 😎 #coaching #ecommerce #metaads by @kobyecommerceequation
Ever since I implemented this for a brand spending $50k+ a day…it was a game changer. MER was super stable. Profit percentage was rising. And even though it’s just 15-30 minute increments in 2-3 different time windows… All that made a huge difference if you implement it properly & consistently every day. And that’s the commitment of running an ad account. It’s not passive income. Meta ads is a beast that needs some nurturing, but people sometimes either OVEROPTIMISE, or UNDEROPTIMISE… Which one are you? Comment below by @kobyecommerceequation
Distributing ads across different campaigns can be confusing, because most people would be worried about: - Overlap or campaigns competing against each other - Whether they provide enough budget to each product or category And so much more. What I found a lot of people struggle with is the balance between equally spreading budget across different products / categories, versus just focusing on the key revenue drivers. You can split your creatives based on: - Product type - Categories - AOV / price point - Countries you’re targeting But the most important part is revenue split. Let’s say you sell tops & pants, but tops generate 90% of the revenue. If you split your budget 50/50 tops & pants, this would definitely make performance worse. Prioritise budget on the best revenue generating category first, and the rest can be allocated later. Keep an eye on how ads split the budget too! by @kobyecommerceequation

“Put all your ads in 1 broad campaign and let Andromeda do the work” Yeah, try that in an account spending $120k a day, and see what happens to your profit. This is probably one of the most cringe & incorrect advice in Meta ads. I’m not saying that consolidating campaigns can never work, but it only works for: - Products/services that only have a few products / offers to sell - If the business only have a few offers, then they can focus on whichever angle/creatives are winning, then they can have a simple structure - If the business only targets 1 country - If the business is small, under $100k/month - If the business operates in a super large / broad market - If your ad spend is low, under $500 a day The reason I hate this advice is because most marketers think that this is the best approach for ALL businesses to follow “Meta’s best practices”. For me, the way I structure ad accounts depend on: 🚀 Your industry & size of market 🚀 The amount of products / offers you sell 🚀 How much budget you spend a day 🚀 How many countries you target 🚀 Whether you have a sale or business as usual 🚀 Your returning customer rate 🚀 The amount of different personas/avatars you target as a business 🚀 How your ads spend the budget, whether 1 ad sucks all budget or it’s equally distributed 🚀 Amount of creatives you have 🚀 Audience segment budget split & behaviour All these factors would determine the volume, and the right dose of campaign structure. This is a brand spending $120k a day with 11 campaigns, with a 4 ROAS. Yes, they are doing a sale, but even WITHOUT a sale, they were running the account at $40k a day with 8-10 campaigns. The moral of the story is…you can have as many campaigns as your business needs, as long as it’s not just a duplicate / the same type of campaign & creatives as one another. You need to have the right dose of creative diversity + campaign structure that is suited for your type of business. I NEVER say 1 account structure & volume of campaigns is the right amount for EVERY business. People who say that most likely have only scaled a handful or their own brands.
