কিউরেটিং দ্য কিউরেটরস' কিউরেশনকে কেবল প্রদর্শনী আয়োজনের একটি দক্ষতা হিসেবে নয়, বরং একটি সাংস্কৃতিক, সম্পর্কভিত্তিক, রাজনৈতিক ও সমালোচনামূলক চর্চা হিসেবে বিবেচনা করে। এই চর্চা নির্ধারণ করে কোন ধারণা, ইতিহাস ও জনগোষ্ঠী জনপরিসরে দৃশ্যমান হয়ে ওঠে।

এই সম্পূর্ণ অর্থায়নপ্রাপ্ত দুই সপ্তাহের রেসিডেন্সি একত্রে শেখা ও জ্ঞান নির্মাণের ভিত্তিতে গড়ে উঠেছে। আমন্ত্রিত কিউরেটর, শিল্পী, গবেষক ও অন্যান্য পেশাজীবীদের পাশাপাশি অংশগ্রহণকারীরাও তাঁদের অভিজ্ঞতা, প্রশ্ন ও কর্মপদ্ধতি ভাগ করে নেবেন।

নাটোরে আয়োজিত এই রেসিডেন্সিতে সংলাপ, কর্মশালা, স্টুডিও ও আর্টস্পেস ভিজিট এবং সমালোচনামূলক আলোচনার মাধ্যমে আমরা অন্বেষণ করব কীভাবে কিউরেটোরিয়াল চর্চা জ্ঞান সৃষ্টি করে, ক্ষমতার কাঠামোকে প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ করে এবং বিকল্প ভবিষ্যতের কল্পনা নির্মাণ করে।

বাসা থেকে বেরিয়ে এসেছি আজ বহুদিন। পরিস্থিতি বৈরী, তাই ফিরে যাওয়া আর হয়ে ওঠেনি। নতুন জীবন শুরু করার উত্তেজনায় মনে হয়েছিলো পুরনো স্মৃতি আমায় আর তাড়া করবেনা। হলোও তাই। দৈনন্দিন জীবনের আমূল পরিবর্তন আর তুমুল ব্যস্ততায় ফিরে তাকানোর সুযোগই বা কই? বেড়ে ওঠার স্মৃতি, বাড়ির মানুষ আর আনুষঙ্গগুলোর স্মৃতি আজ অনেকটাই ম্লান। হয়তো সব ভুলেই যেতাম। কিন্তু বাধ সাধলো রসনা। নতুন পরিবেশে সবই ভালো, সবকিছুই উষ্ণতায় ঘেরা। সবই পেলাম, কিন্তু আমার বেড়ে ওঠার সাথে আষ্টেপৃষ্ঠে জড়িয়ে থাকা স্বাদের স্মৃতি হয়ে উঠলো অধরা। কত খুঁজলাম! কোথাও নাই। মা–মাসি–দিদিমনির হাতের রান্না হয়ে উঠলো আমার পুরনো জীবনের স্মৃতির আগল।

দিন যায়, মাস যায়, ঘরে আর ফেরা হয় না। হারিয়ে যাওয়া সেই ঘর খুঁজে পেতে রান্নাঘরে যাই, সাথে থাকে স্মৃতি হাতড়ে সেই স্বাদ পুনরুদ্ধারের প্রয়াস। ‘মণি’ সেই প্রচেষ্টারই এক বহিঃপ্রকাশ।

Super pumped to present the outcomes of a quick collab: উদ্ভট/Udbhot, a line of wearable artworks by @ktagaz & @nayem.ar.rahman now available at @mooonmooment 💥

Only 5 hand painted unique editioned shirts and one lungi placed at a promotional price are available at 17 Ghausal & Monowarw Residence, Road 02 (right behind star kabab at dhanmondi 02) between 3pm to 3am. The market is open for all from today till March 14, 2026.

In Solidarity with Nipiron Birodhi Shilpi Shomaj. Sharing the 8 point demands from the protest today:

1. An immediate, fair, and independent investigation into the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi, the prosecution of those responsible, and visible state action to restore political accountability.
2. Full investigations and justice for the attacks on Prothom Alo, The Daily Star, Chhayanaut, and Udichi.
3. The unconditional guarantee of freedom of religion and freedom of expression. Baul Abdul Sarkar, arrested on false blasphemy charges, must be released immediately.
4. Thorough investigations into all attacks on shrines (mazars and khanqahs) and on religious and ethnic minority communities, with the arrest and prosecution of perpetrators. All forms of state patronage of such violence must end.
5. Immediate and effective action to stop nationwide attacks carried out on the basis of gender, profession, ethnicity, personal lifestyle, ideology, or belief.
6. The immediate cancellation of all projects and agreements that undermine national interest and destroy life and nature. No secret agreements. No backroom deals.
7. Full autonomy of cultural and educational institutions - including the Shilpakala Academy, Shishu Academy, and Bangla Academy - free from partisan control.
8. Concrete and visible steps to ensure freedom of expression and to create conditions where cultural practice can survive without fear.

"Staying silent at this time is a crime. Speaking out now is an act of resistance.

The recent attacks on Prothom Alo, The Daily Star, Chhayanaut, and Udichi are not isolated incidents. Attacks on people of different religions, ethnic communities, political beliefs and incidents where people have been burnt to death, these are clear signs of fascism.

Therefore, today we call upon artists, writers, thinkers, and cultural workers, those of us who believe in Bangladesh,
who believe that together we are Bangladesh,
and who believe this country must be built on equality, coexistence, and collective freedom.
