Turns out the Singaporean is not the issue, his partner is.

Found out there was a Chinese lad from Guangdong with his Taiwanese girlfriend (in a room of mostly white audience). I skipped my joke about the varieties of animals the Cantonese would eat because the gig is in the liberal capital of the Uk, Brighton.

A correction to the dish’s name. It is called Dragon and Tiger Fight 龍虎鬥. It’s a tiger not a snake, since the “dragon” in the name is already a euphemism for snake meat. This dish does exist I did not make it up.

The lady from Chicago didn’t want to admit it, but her reaction answered the question the Taiwanese comedian was asking.

The one joke that has been missing from all the Epstein file revelations.

Martin doesn’t shake hands. Regular social interactions don’t seem to be his forte for Martin in the front row.

I will be doing a work-in-progress show @topsecretcomedy in central London next Tuesday (April 28th, 6pm. Door opens at 5:30pm)

Wasn’t sure if the play on words is too remote for some, so I made a new image for this new show. Hopefully the image delivers a clearer message! 😉 John Le Carré’s novel is a classic even the last film adaptation went back to 2011.

🎟️ is £2 for entry only (for those who like the show, they can top up with donations upon leaving the room). See bio for tickets.

Reposting this accidental clip! This was posted just over two years ago… I had just started learning Italian 🇮🇹 for no obvious reasons (still in the babystep A1 era) but have already noticed some odd things about this language.

God knows it would trigger a torrent of very emotional reactions from some Italian men (yeah, somehow mostly i signori) because I criticised their pasta 🍝

Oggi capisco meglio l’italiano ma scherzo raramente sulla lingua Italiana.

Lesson learned: do not criticise pasta. Maybe don’t mention the worldcup 🏆 for a while, either.

A question that Albanian 🇦🇱 Italian stand up comic @xhulianodule couldn’t quite get: why do some Italians 🇮🇹 keep mistaking him for Chinese?

Is it just because Italians don’t quite know what Chinese people look like? But even Chinese Italians themselves think he is Chinese 🤣

Is it just because his name include the alphabets “X” and “H” rarely used in Italian, or is there some elements of truth in his appearance?

To listen to the whole podcast episode, check out the link in bio.
