You think a little bit of social unrest and national resistance is gonna hold me back from making my ever anticipated monthly Instagram post?! Pffft, of course not.

This, however, is not the post I thought I'd be making when I wrote up my last one. I figured 2026 was gonna be my year I just didn't know how, and I guess I might've found my answer.

I'm often arguing politics on here, you've likely seen my posts or comments, and I continue to see the same sentiment over and over again;

"ICE is out there arresting rapists and illegals! Stay out of their way and you won't get hurt!!"

That's not true. It's so so far from true. I've always cared deeply about journalism and the truth behind the news, when I was a kid watching the Iraq war live on TV every day, I thought we were the good guys, but as I got older I learned about what we did, how things were handled. That was when I realized there is no truth in the news, and ever since I've fought for what I thought was right.

ICE isn't arresting criminals, they're kidnapping everyone who looks different, everyone who sounds different. They're locking men women and children up in concentration camps built in YOUR backyards, everyone separated by colored jumpsuits.

Is it "law enforcement" if I have to show you my birth certificate? To me, that sounds like selective enforcement. Every single one of us is a human being, with feelings and thoughts and opinions. History has never been kind, because we've never been kind.

Keith Porter Jr.

Renee Good.

Alex Pretti.

Liam Ramos.

Ask me about any of them and I can tell you the exact opposite of what the news wants you to believe, because there's EVIDENCE. There's hard video proof of the shit they've done, if you don't believe it then you're choosing to ignore it, and to that I say silence is complicity.

I've had people tell me this is all pointless for me to do, but I'm tired of sitting around waiting for "someone else" to handle it, because unlike those other millions of people, I realized that I'm that someone else.

It could take months, or weeks, or even years, but I will not stop fighting, and you shouldn't either.

In other news, I saw The All American Rejects earlier this month and they were SO GOOD. They played a song they just wrote and a bunch of my favorite songs so that was sick, AND (addressing the elephant in the room) I think I'm pretty good at costume design!!

Nah I jest we are TOTALLY dating SUCK IT HATERS KYLE STILL #1 🏆

On the topic of pot stirring, I went to Comic Con again this year and it was FIRE as always 🔥

I finally put something together this year and I think it came out pretty good. Wearing the Daredevil suit for 2/3 days was a wonderful blessing. So many kids and families wanted pictures, I let everyone hold the billy club so they could be involved too 🥰

Doing stuff like that makes me so happy. One very specific thing from this weekend however was my chat with Jermaine. I was walking to the convention from a few blocks away and there was a man sitting on the sidewalk, incredibly drunk and minding his own until I walked by.

Jermaine is an artist, he was wearing a Punisher beanie and I felt like I was meant to walk past him at that very moment dressed as his hero. My god he was such a sweet soul, he gave us some of his artwork and some other stuff he wanted us to have
(I have contacted him on Facebook asking if he'd like his things back)
@OctoberKnight - Jermaine Battle on FB, check out his work he is a wonderful guy.

Other highlights from the convention include:

• getting lost
• avoiding pinkertons 👁️
• reminiscing with old pals over shared hatred
• YEARNING
• rick grime hoptal blanket
• getting lost more

If you wanna talk or argue or whatever lmk, I'm always down for a virtual fade (don't try me irl I'll pee myself)

Anyways have an awesome April and always remember!

Holy. Shit.

I mean like come on. Where do I even start? The olympics was one big clown show filled with wealthy benefactors looking down on everyone else, as always. The worst part is what was happening outside. A LOT of athletes died. I mean like, so many athletes died it's ridiculous. On top of that, the Italian people protested their government against the Epstein Files and the Olympics (because let's face it those games are destructive and tensely expensive for everyone around.)
During these protests, the railways were bombed, cities on fire, fascist riot police brutalizing people in the streets.

It sounds like that's the norm now.

Now, this last week I've been following (and posting about) a "potential" Iranian conflict. A blockade 3× the size of the one involved in the invasion of Iraq and y'know what? Not a goddamn person knew about it.
I ran a census and everything, I asked about 20 different people if they heard about it and every single one of them said NO. Does that sound at all okay to any of YOU? We should know where the tax dollars are going and we should know why our service members are being sent with orders to kill first ask questions never.

Now, I wanna briefly address my last post with the empathy manifesto. That wasn't supposed to be a jab at anyone specific, but more of a public meltdown with an important message hidden in it. It's like a kinder egg go ahead and crack it.

As of me writing this the gas prices in Kansas are already rising, a direct result of the Iranian conflict (not made up I try to do my research don't worry.)

I miss my funny posts with the pictures of my cats and the funny stock pictures, but as nice as those were I feel like this is what I have to do.

I don't see enough people talking about it and that worries me. I want to do something to make a difference, ANYTHING. Right now, that's trying to guide my students in the right direction and trying to spread the news when and where I can, but some day that's going to mean really doing something.

I wish I had more but unfortunately, next month will be just that.

I'm always here gang, I love you ❤️ by @kyleh24_24

It's time for a refresher course since nobody knows how to act in these oh-so trying times.

Every day. Every single day for nearly 365 days I watched THIS video, and so did a lot of you.

After a LOT of thinking, I can confidently attribute my moral standards to this video and to my fifth grade teacher. I thought about this video every day since the last time I watched it as an 11 year old and I had no idea why. I didn't know why I wanted to care so much about everyone and everything, I didn't know why I cried at the simple thought of a child losing a balloon they had for two minutes. I didn't know why I felt so shameful and regretful towards matters I wasn't even educated on.

Now I know it's because I was taught empathy. REAL empathy, not that feel bad for you playground bullshit but really sitting there and LISTENING and EXPERIENCING the pain and labor someone has gone through. To me, THAT is empathy.

So when I look at the world around me, I can't help but feel hurt and disgusted and so so very uncomfortable, but when I look inward for support, when I look to my friends and family, all I see is a bunch of ignorant people who are living their lives like nothing is happening. Just watching the sports game and cheering for the funny commercials.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?

YOU have a voice. God did not give it to you so you can use it to ignore the importance of death and brutality, God gave you that voice to scream and complain and yell, God gave you that voice to cry and to pray and to say 'I love you' but you can't do that if you're dead.

This isn't just one of those things that happens and then goes away after a little bit of anger. This isn't about left or right. It does not matter if you are legal, it does not matter if you work hard, it does not matter if you go to school.

They. Want. You. Dead.

It's simple, speak up and you're a target, stay silent and you're a supporter.

Are you really gonna be the one who shamelessly carries their social security and birth certificate for the fourth Reich?

Grow a pair of fucking balls and do something for FUCKS SAKE. I am tired of watching you people ignore it. by @kyleh24_24

No end credits scene?! It's over?? Just like that? What a waste of time 🙄

That's a wrap on the big '25 and hollllllyyyyyyyyyy I really don't know what to say.

I've been having a really good year, probably the best I've had EVER, but with that come the fear of things changing again. I fear change, but it's happening at all seconds of every day so what is there to be so afraid of?

Maybe it's progress, or moving on from something that was good, and fun.

I say I had a good year because I truly feel like I did, but it was a year plagued by homelessness, conflict, stress, and general dead ends, so how did I do it without blowing my shit smoove off? I smiled.

I know how that sounds, but it's true you have GOT to try this method. Just smile, be kind. Talk to people who look interesting, or sad, if you have something to give then give it, because if the last 365 days have taught me anything it's that the best love is the love you give.

A heart free of judgement is a heart free of the chains of judgement. Say nice things, be good people, because we're going into 2026 full of positivity and love, right gang?

We all have to do our part to make the world a little better than how we found it.

I Love You Gang❤️❤️❤️ by @kyleh24_24

THIS is totally the final post from Anime405 😁

Here's the (mostly) full clip from the panel with @sdownes117 and @jentaylortown . I wanted to share the full thing because of how important it was for me.

Growing up, my very first video game was Halo 2, my favorite ever show to watch was Red vs Blue. Before I even knew how to talk I was listening to Chief and Cortona. I've played every launch since then, I've heard every voice line and I've seen every secret the series has to offer. Halo has always been with me.

When my dad wasn't there, I had the Master Chief. When I couldn't live with my mom, I had Cortana. They may just be voices behind a screen, but to me and hundreds of thousands of young boys and girls, they're idols, people to look up to when you have nobody else, heroes to be when you grow up. Hell, I enrolled in college for video game design SPECIFICALLY because of the impact Halo had on me.

So, standing there in front of hundreds, meeting my childhood heroes, it was one of the most important and memorable things in my entire life and I will forever be grateful for that experience.

When I got my helmet signed, they spoke to me like real people. Not high and mighty kings, but people. Steve and I talked about where we were from, places we want to see. Jen's words though, I will never forget her kindness.

I explained to her that this was a massive step forward for me, I've never really been able to talk to people I don't know, but she talked to me for way too long. She held up her line just so I could tell her how important her performance was, and how much it meant to me and even the kids I teach. She even took a picture of me for her husband because he loves funny shirts too.

They say to never meet your heroes, and I'm so glad I never listen.

Thank you to everyone who was there, and thank you to every single person that put their time and love and effort into making Halo persist over the last 24 years.

Thank you.

Oh what a beautiful year it's been, but also what a nightmare.
Things have been just amazing on my end, but everywhere I look all I see is misery and pain. It sucks.

I want to spread positivity, and hope, and I want to make people happy but with everything out of my power what am I supposed to do? Do I deserve to feel this happy when the people around me aren't?

All stupid questions I should probably get a therapist for, but that's why I have the gram!!

Back to my regularly scheduled ranting, how've you guys been? New friends, old friends, faraway friends, or friends who just added me back out of pity, I hope you all had a wonderful November and a good thanksgiving. It's not often everyone comes together, so cherish the days you have with them.

If you actually read these then I love you, if you didn't read this then too bad because I love you too gang

Stay warm, stay healthy, and have a happy December folks ❤️ by @kyleh24_24

I DID IT!

I couldn't have ever managed this without change, Isn't that funny? You guys were right!

I know it isn't the craziest most exciting thing to post (again), but it's an accomplishment I heavily doubted myself in, therefore it's completion calls for celebration 🎉🎉

I now OWN a car and it's a historically significant one at that. A propaganda piece from a dark age turned a culturally relevant icon of peace and love. What a wonderful tale of turnaround huh?

Don't doubt yourselves, with the right determination and confidence, you can do anything.

I Love You gang, have a good night ❤️ by @kyleh24_24

Thank you for taking a trip on my supersonic rocket ship 🚀

It was fun pretending to be an alien for a few days, thank you for entertaining the bit 🛸📡

You call it "Kyler's being weird again" I call it ART 🌟

THE CURSE IS LIFTED‼️‼️

Finally, MY October.

Another month, another post (I like this, consistency is good for you always remember that)

Anyways, if we take a look back at the yearly leaderboard we can see that October is a very "it's so over" kinda time of year for me, well not this time buddy 😏🤑

I've gained a lot of new responsibilities this last month through work and I've been absolutely loving that. My best bud is a second grader who knows everything there is to know about SHARKS. It's awesome.

In other news, the weight of the world and its effects on the people around me is a lot right now. Between raids and the policies set to hurt families I directly work with AND my work itself, it's getting harder and harder for anyone here to live and pretend it's all okay. I know there's not much I can do but speak about it, but I always wish there was more, I'm sure you get it.

Dire world anguish aside, I hope you've been well, and I hope you're taking care of yourself. We made it another month gang, I'm proud of you and you deserve to be proud of yourself too.

I love you guys, don't forget to brush your teeth ❤️🪥 by @kyleh24_24
