It’s with a heavy heart that I honor the life of my doula sister and friend @suzannah88 / @suzannahphotography who transitioned this past weekend.

The kindness and generosity Suzannah blessed our sweet birthing community with is unmeasurable. Her deep knowledge and trust in birthing people and birth was such a gift. Her talents as a photographer were awe-inspiring. She was a steady, compassionate presence in so many birth spaces, offering care, strength, and deep witnessing to families in their most tender moments.

I’ll never forget one night in June, two doula clients called me within 15 mins, both labors had kicked off and were moving fast. I called Suzannah, completely out of the blue. Without hesitation, without question, she said yes. Yes, she’d drive right over to my clients house and support them. Complete strangers. It was incredible & that’s the kind of person she was.

The picture above is her repairing me in more ways than one. She was part of my trusted homebirth team. Four years ago, she helped usher me through the most magical transformation of my life. I’m forever and always so grateful. I will deeply cherish my birth photos by her ever more.

Got some great weather for a little end of the summer midweek adventure.

Yes, it’s a lot of effort, yes the nap schedule is off today, yes a raccoon made it into the entryway of our tent last night, but Steep Ravine is always always worth it 🏕️

Happy Father’s Day to our guiding light 💫 You make life so magical and seeing you step into Fatherhood with such confidence is inspiring. Jazz and I love you so much. These family rides bring so much joy. Hard to capture all the small moments, but eveything from the music you play on the ride that makes her dance, to the little low fives, to the way you always seem to know what she wants, you truly are the most amazing and attentive Father. First plane trip for baby Jasmine was to see her amazing soul twin Auntie Eeps, her Uncle Timmy and cousin Bromley 🦮

SLC is a little mountain oasis and we’re lucky to have a home away from home out there. Thanks for the memorable weekend @beat_root 💞

We love you and will miss Eep’s morning eggs, neighborhood walks, Tulie bakery,snuggles with Broms and that spring mountain air. Even the afternoon thunder and lightening storms 🍳🦮🥐💕🌸 🏔️⚡️

Alpine Dam with no cars allowed just hits different 😝

Cup feels so full after I was able to spontaneously make this ride call. Shout out to @keemkong_ 💜

So many aspects of mothering are all consuming. My fear is being forgotten about because people just figure I’m busy with Jazz. But I want to be invited to ride and I hope to make more ride calls this year. I love being a Mom and I also love the amazing freedom being on a bike brings me. Hope people got out there this weekend in between these atmospheric rivers ☔️🌧️🌂🌈

Happy 5 year bike anniversary date my love 💗

Hard to fit all our bike adventures and memories in one reel. Incredibly grateful for all these amazing times we’ve shared and experienced.
