POSTS STORIES REELS

The room was packed with leaders eager to learn!

people don’t connect to content first. They connect to experiences.

The most impactful trainings are not lectures - they are conversations, interactions, reflection, movement, and moments people can actually feel.

If your organization is looking for interactive, engaging leadership development, or communication training experiences, let’s connect.

🌟 An incredible few days/evenings of growth, connection, and inspiration🌟!

I have been truly honored over the past few days to share my passion for leadership and personal growth in two amazing settings!

First, I had the privilege of serving as a keynote speaker at the Delaware Volunteer Conference, where I spoke to over 100 nonprofit volunteer directors, and board members about Leading Through the Lens of Maxwell DISC. The energy, commitment, and heart for service in that room were nothing short of inspiring! 💥

Then, I joined my new partner at @beinspiredtoexplore for a powerful leadership training experience in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Together, we facilitated The Leadership Game - a dynamic, interactive experience that helped nonprofit leaders strengthen communication, collaboration, and connection within their teams.

Two different audiences, one shared purpose: helping leaders grow so they can serve their people and communities even better.

I’m grateful for every handshake, every story, and every spark of growth I witnessed.

The journey continues - and I can’t wait to see where @beinspiredtoexplore takes us next! 🚀

Understanding human behavior changes the way we work together.

Last month, I had the opportunity to work with a local law firm, facilitating a leadership and communication experience focused on navigating differences and strengthening workplace relationships.

As a behavioral strategist, I help individuals and teams better understand how people are wired, why they respond the way they do, and how those differences influence communication, collaboration, and performance.

Because when we better understand people, we can reduce friction, strengthen connections, and create more effective workplaces.

That’s where friction begins to turn into flow.

Why do we fire walk? Great question!
We do it for many different reasons.
🔥 For connection and community
🔥 For empowering ourselves
🔥 For facing HARD things in our lives’

Whether you are facing a career change, an important decision, leaving a relationship, starting over, a health concern, or numerous other reasons bringing your WHY to the fire and walking across hot coals is uplifting and empowering. 🔥 🎯

From Friction to Flow! 💥

What an energizing day of professional development!

Today, I had the opportunity to facilitate an interactive session with faculty at Delaware Tech focused on “From Friction to Flow: Reading the Room Before You Teach the Room.”

As educators, we know that no two students think, communicate, process information, or engage in quite the same way. And that’s where understanding human behavior becomes so powerful!

I introduced my simple three-step framework:

👀 READ the room.
🧠 RECOGNIZE behavioral patterns.
💡 RESPOND with intention.

Through movement, conversation, reflection, and a little fun, we explored how small shifts in our communication can make a BIG difference in how we connect with students and one another.

The goal isn’t to change who we are. It’s to become more intentional about how we connect with others.

Because when we understand the people in front of us, we can turn friction into flow!

Grateful for the faculty who showed up, leaned in, and made today’s experience so engaging!

Motivation gets you going… It’s a great place to start.

But, growth is not a natural process.

Growth is an intentional process paved with discipline and intention. by @leadwithdrrachael

This weekend, I have the privilege of connecting virtually with an incredible group of women in Pakistan to explore John Maxwell’s Laws of Growth. 🌱

One of the messages I’m most excited to share is this:

Growth doesn’t require you to leave the season you’re in. It invites you to grow within it.

Whether you are a mother, caregiver, professional, community leader, friend, or the person others depend on—you are already leading somewhere.

Together, we’ll explore the Law of the Mirror and the Law of Reflection and consider how greater self-awareness, intentional reflection, and personal growth can strengthen the way we lead and influence the people around us.

Leadership isn’t only about a position or title. Sometimes it looks like the way you show up for your family, encourage another woman, serve your community, or choose to grow yourself.

🌱 Honor the season you’re in. Reflect on what it’s teaching you. And keep growing from right where you are.

Something keeps happening when we start talking about human wiring: people begin recognizing themselves—and each other—differently.

The best moments from a conference presentation aren’t always the ones happening on the stage.

They’re the moments when someone in the audience suddenly sees a colleague—or themselves—differently.

That’s what I experienced at the ASCENT Conference in Florida.

As we moved, interacted, laughed, and reflected together, one message kept coming to the surface:

Sometimes what we experience as friction is really a difference in human wiring.

We don’t all communicate the same way.
We don’t process information the same way.
We don’t respond to pressure the same way.
And we certainly don’t all need the same things from our leaders.

When we stop assuming that others should think, communicate, or respond the way we do, something begins to shift.

Friction can become understanding.
Assumption can become curiosity.
And communication can become connection.

That’s what Friction to Flow is really about.

It’s not about eliminating differences. It’s about learning to recognize them, understand them, and lead through them.

Grateful for the conversations, participation, and energy at ASCENT—and even more grateful to see this message creating conversations that continue long after the session ends.
