POSTS STORIES REELS

For more than a decade, my favorite golf partners had four legs.

Jay and Win walked a thousand holes with me.

We lost Win a few years ago. She’s part of the reason WIN36 has its name.

And here’s Jay, 16 years old, still coming along for another day of golf.

Some of the best parts of this game have nothing to do with the score. by @leftymjs

Golf got lost in the technology somewhere.

The sound. The feel. The challenge.

Lately I’ve been playing persimmon. Not every round. Just sometimes.

And it’s changed how I experience the game.

The course plays differently. The sweet spot is smaller. You stop chasing distance and start chasing the center of the face.

And when you catch one?

Nothing feels like it. Nothing sounds like it.

Solid contact. Rhythm. That’s what this game is about.

Sometimes going backward reminds you what makes golf so good.

Turn the sound on. 🔊

Would you play a round with persimmon? 👇

Your toes need room to splay. To grip. To push off. FootJoy gives you one golf ball of space. WIN36 gives you two. That’s not a marketing claim. That’s a golf ball.

Ball above my feet. Rough. Sidehill lie. Old Wilson Staff blade.

And a pair of wide toe box golf shoes.

You don’t really know whether you trust your traction until you need it.

They held.

For the love of the game. by @leftymjs

Wedges are defense, rebounding, free throws. Not sexy. It’s what wins.

How much of your practice is inside 100, do you like to win? by @leftymjs

This is my meditation.

No playing partners. No scorecard. Just me, a target, and a hundred different ways to get the ball there. Low and checking. High and soft. A little finger roll instead of a dunk.

The best wedge players I know aren’t swinging harder. They’re feeling more. That’s the whole reason I built WIN36 — a golf shoe that lets you actually feel the ground.

Founders Edition, link in bio. Arrives before Christmas.

I want to play great golf for as long as I possibly can.

That means taking care of the body, building strength, staying mobile, and continuing to challenge myself.

Golf is a lifelong game. I want my body to be ready for it.

No ground. No power.

Golf starts from the ground up.

WIN36. Feel the ground.

Been experimenting with hitting balls in a weight vest. Mine is 16 lbs.

I like the feeling of extra weight through my chest. I feel more centered and controlled, and it feels harder to get quick or sloppy. I feel centered and grounded.

Hit a lot of balls this way today. Going to keep experimenting with it.

The 16 lbs isn’t the point. That’s simply the weight I’m comfortable using. If you experiment with one, use a load that makes sense for you. by @leftymjs

@leftymjs loves golf so much, he found a way to make everyone’s game better.

@win36golf makes the perfect barefoot shoes for folks who care about their feet and dream of swinging a hole-in-one.

Over 100 orders.

$25,000 in presales.

I ordered 2,000.

So naturally, we’re celebrating. 😂

Seriously, thank you to the first 100 people who bought WIN36 before we’ve shipped a single pair.

1,900 to go.
