Cafe mountain AW26

Marking the fifth Autumn Winter collection, this season feels like an accumulation of everything I’ve been learning and aiming towards over the last 5 years designing. Timeless yet interesting clothing, that you can rely on, repeatedly, without having to try or think too hard about. It’s a simple mission but a complex one at that, a balance of function, familiarity and fabric through nature and craft.

Ultimately, the deeper purpose of the above is to free you up so you can get on with whatever your actually doing in life. It’s just clothes at the end of the day, but if it can help shape your daily lifestyle and allow you to do more then I’ll take that as a good thing.

SS27 Preview - The Signal Jacket

Next week we head to Paris to showcase our Spring Summer 2027 collection but I wanted to share a new style we’ve developed; The Signal Jacket.

This new silhouette takes inspiration from 80s British fishing jackets, 90s British workwear I found in a vintage store in Tokyo and US performance gear all updated, filtered, developed and crafted through the Café Mountain lens to bring everyday practicality and a jacket that will stay on your back for a long time.
Fabricated in a Cordura 60/40 cotton nylon that has been dyed, hand scoured and left to dry in the sun, each jacket is unique letting the by hand processes shine through the fabric itself.
The jacket looks relatively simple until you reveal the concealed utility pocket set up beneath the snap closure pocket guards; ‘daisy chain’ nylon grosgrain ribbon and an array of 6 multi configured pockets bringing the total count to 10 when you throw in the dual entry, double snap pockets at the hip.

Finished with a chunky 2-way Riri zip and waxed cotton cord.

Café Mountain x Eternal Love ‘Ritmomento’

Celebrating the release of the Italian duo’s newest EP ‘Ritmomento’ released on Second Circle (@music_from_memory ), Eternal Love have teamed up with Café Mountain to produce a limited commemorative capsule.

Drawing inspiration from the 80s cosmic music scene and its open approach to global influences, the collaboration comes in the form of overdyed contrast stitch caps and an incense that has been developed to instil calmness and encourage deeper listening experiences.

‘Well Balanced Leisure Goods’

SS26 details on some of my favourite pieces from this collection. I’ve loved pouring over every detail, expanding our supplier network, introducing new (old) techniques and developing every style.

This season also marks the first time we’ve worked with @_koreymartin who captured Café Mountain perfectly in his illustrations. Along with always great contributions from @jjoshaitken and hand cut leather pullers by @modestgoodsncl

Round 2 of @eternalsunfestival is ready!
Serious line up (as always), with some of our favourite artists, b2b debuts, returning faces from the first edition and I also heard even more sound system upgrades 👀
