@chogan25 :

Over the last 15 years of coaching strength and conditioning, I have had the absolute pleasure in teaching thousands of people how to Snatch and Clean & Jerk.

From young to old, experienced to not, and athletic and “not-so-much”.

Through my own Olympic Weightlifting journey and experiences, I’ve learned the small details that make massive strides in improvement in the lifts and I absolutely LOVE sharing the small pieces of the puzzle that create those “Ah Ha” moments for athletes.

After hosting my Advanced Weightlifting Seminar in April, I had so many athletes request a follow up skills session to give focused time and attention to pushing past plateaus. So that’s what l’m gonna do!!

I’m hosting two Skills Sessions @two_forty_four . No experience necessary as we are breaking these lifts down to the bare bones and building them back up.
Even if you think you’re proficient in the lifts, these clinics are meant to give you even more confidence for the next time you walk up to that PR bar.

Registration links for both clinics are available in our bio!

Nationals 2025✨

Just to be clear, the odds of doing what I did almost a year ago to qualify for this meet was very slim, and I knew that! My performance was reflective of where I’m at right now🤷🏾‍♀️

The last time that I qualified for Nationals was 2 years ago as a 59 and was forced to take a long break from WL due to a nagging injury afterwards. Last year, I took the time I needed to recover and then my goal was to just lift in as many meets as I could just to get back into it. I got back into it, qualified for every national meet, then life got stressful and then training became difficult.

Haven’t been lifting consistently and I came with no coach and on the tail end of a long work trip. So why come?

Because I can 🥰❤️ I qualified, so I wanted to be here and I had realistic expectations for myself. I had fun getting to meet new friends and old friends in person, watch a little weightlifting, and explore Colorado Springs!

Shoutout to @coachwest_cscs for adopting me for the meet and to @_ginie__ for becoming my new WL bestie ❤️

I’m excited to take a much needed break to focus on work and then see how much gas I have left for this sport.

We move 🔥
