Hugged by limbos 🫶🏼
Made this mirror frame when I was still living in Istanbul, and installed it recently in my new home in Beirut.
These limbos are in a deep embrace while looking at themselves in the mirror.
37 cm diameter approx
Keeping this one for myself, but dm to order your own customized hug. ♡ by @limb.00

Over the past year I’ve been exploring geometric repetition, inspired by Greek pottery rhythms, M.C. Escher’s modules, press-mold and carving techniques. I brought this research into a vase to close the year and set the tone for what’s ahead.
This piece marks the beginning of my new series, “Fossil Vessel.” Excited to keep exploring this direction in the new year 🤍
Grateful to everyone who supported my work this past year—through collecting, visiting, and showing up.
Wishing you all love, health, and creativity ✨

The Residency Edit | Shirine Sbaiti @limb.00

Shirine Sbaiti transforms the human body into sculptural objects that sit somewhere between art, design and everyday ritual. Across ceramics, lighting and functional pieces, limbs become structure, gestures become ornament, and familiar objects become quietly human.

Drawing from themes of intimacy, memory and connection, her practice blurs the boundary between sculpture and design, inviting us to reconsider the emotional relationships we have with the objects around us. by @limb.00

Since the beginning of March, Israel’s war on Lebanon has displaced over 1 million people across south Lebanon and Beirut, killed more than 3,000 people, and injured thousands more — with the deaths continuing to rise. Despite a ceasefire by name, attacks and bombardments continue in many parts of the country.

Ongoing violent Israeli strikes on civilian infrastructure have forced many people into temporary shelters without access to basic necessities, while homes and entire neighborhoods have been destroyed. First responders, ambulances, and rescue equipment have also been repeatedly targeted.

Souk el Fan is organizing a 2-week online print sale to raise funds for grassroot organizations supporting various communities impacted.
The sale features 54 photography and illustrations, generously donated by artists and photographers based in Lebanon, with all profits going directly to grassroots efforts on the ground.

Special thanks to @corpsniches for partnering with us to bring this initiative to life.
