So honored to have collaborated with @houseoftoday on the first LimbObject candle, part of the Candle Project. You can now visit their website to check out 10 beautiful candles by 10 Lebanese designers. (Link in bio). The candles are produced by skilled artisans from the Beit Chabab Hospital Workshop.

For “I am here”, the source of inspiration is the way wax melts, and in this experience, how a poetic discourse emerges, about the transformation of its forms. From observing wax melting, forming soft droplets, then hardening, the candle seeks to evoke a sense of intimacy and comfort. Mimicking a friend’s touch in times of distress, and silently conveying “I am here for you”, this feeling is captured in how candles offer light, on dark nights.

Material: Paraffin wax
Dimensions: H13xD15 cm
Weight: 1kg

Excited to announce the second object of the @limbobject series

•THE WAITING LAMP•

By definition, being in Limbo entails a lot of sitting around and waiting for things to change, for decisions to be made, resolutions to be met and for situations to get better. This body with sets of crossed hands sits on a table and waits indefinitely.
