$160. That’s what I spent to buy lunch for my employees today. 🍕🤬

$140 worth of pizza plus a $20 tip.

Instead of delivering it to our office at 300 G Street, Uber Eats left three pizzas and a salad ON THE GROUND in front of a completely different building at 333 G Street in downtown San Diego.

Then when I tried to get help through the app, I was told I wasn’t getting a refund.

So I called.

“About a one minute wait.”

Twenty minutes later, I’m still sitting there waiting while the lunch I promised my employees is nowhere to be found.

Seriously, Uber Eats?

If a driver delivers $160 worth of food to the wrong address and leaves it sitting on the ground, who should be responsible?

What would you do?

Well… Las Vegas finally got some rain. 😳🌧️

This came down FAST. The street was filling up, the sidewalk was disappearing, and the water just kept coming.

When it rains in Vegas, apparently it REALLY rains. 😂

Who else in Vegas is getting hammered with rain tonight?

The World Cup is teaching geography one country name at a time. Am I the only one who missed this update?

Raise your hand if you’re ready for election season to be OVER. 🙋‍♂️😂

The mailers. The texts. The phone calls. The commercials. All of it.

Even Maui has had enough. 🐶

Regardless of who you’re voting for, I think there’s one thing we can all agree on…

We’re ready to get our mailboxes, phones and TV commercials back. 😂

Who else is with me? 🙋‍♂️

Yesterday I learned that when you tell kids, “Please, just take one,” they apparently hear, “Grab the biggest handful you possibly can!” 😂🍬🎃

Who else experienced this on Halloween? 😂

Well, this wasn’t exactly the Halloween forecast we were hoping for! 🎃🌧️

It is absolutely pouring in Las Vegas right now. If you’re heading out tonight, bring the umbrella and watch out for flooded streets.

Who else is getting soaked this Halloween? 👻☔️

Good morning from the Reno Tahoe Airport!

It’s Travel Saturday, it’s Halloween, and yes, there are slot machines inside the airport because… Nevada. 😂🎰

Wherever you are this morning, I hope you have an amazing weekend, stay safe tonight, stay dry if the weather is coming your way, and enjoy the people around you.

Love you all. ❤️

Not every flight delay is bad. 😂✈️

TSA had basically no line, the airport was surprisingly quiet, and my delayed flight gave me enough extra time to sneak in some In N Out.

Now I’m off to Reno with my mini me for my nephew’s wedding. ❤️

Sometimes you just have to roll with the travel day you’re given and make the best of it.

Happy Nevada Day weekend and Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

I’ve made bad decisions.

I’ve wasted money.

I’ve made business decisions I wish I could take back.

After 19 years in business, I can promise you this: beating yourself up over the past accomplishes absolutely nothing.

Learn from it. Grow from it. Make a different decision next time.

Your mistakes don’t have to define you. What you do after them does.

And if sharing some of mine helps even one person avoid making the same mistakes, then they were worth talking about.

AI search is changing how people find businesses, and I’m trying to figure out how much attention we should be paying to it right now.

ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and other platforms are becoming part of the way customers research where to go, what to buy and who to hire.

So I want to hear from other business owners and marketers.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is showing up in AI search to your business?

Are you already investing in it?

And if you’ve hired someone who is actually getting results, who are you using?

I’ve received quotes that are ALL over the place, so I’m curious what everyone else is seeing.

Drop your experience in the comments. 👇

You bought a house underneath the Hollywood Sign... and now you’re mad tourists keep showing up?

I own a tour company in Los Angeles, so yes, I’m biased.

But this sign is on bucket lists all over the world.

Now, blocking driveways, leaving trash, smoking during high fire danger and treating someone’s neighborhood like a bathroom is completely unacceptable.

But tourists wanting that iconic Hollywood photo?

That part is never going away.

So where do you stand?

Protect the neighborhood more aggressively, or accept that living under one of the most famous landmarks on Earth comes with the territory?

You’ve probably heard the term “king tide” a lot lately, but most people have no idea what it actually means.

King tides are some of the highest naturally occurring tides of the year, caused by the gravitational pull of the sun and moon lining up with Earth.

They’re predictable, but when you combine them with wind, waves, storms, or heavy rain, the impacts can become much more serious.

Flooded roads. Coastal erosion. Water reaching places that normally stay dry.

Now I want to hear from you. Are you seeing unusually high water where you live right now? Drop your city in the comments and tell me what you’re seeing.
