before having a baby i often heard it takes two years for the body to heal (on a deeper cellular level), but also on a mental, spiritual and identity level. i now get it!! V will be two next month and i only now feel like a new, and more fresh version of myself. i know this isn’t the case for everyone, but it’s been my experience. in a world where bounce back and swiftness is celebrated, i have found peace and beauty in some things taking time. maybe it’s my Saturn ruled chart (hello cap rising), but i really am okay with the flow of this season. 🦢 taken in Nosara, Costa Rica by @lisa__oconnor

i have gone through many iterations of myself in my lifetime (s). being a Scorpio this feels natural to me, yet this recent one has been the biggest transformation yet. entering into motherhood has been the most profound portal and quite honestly i haven’t had many words to express it, as i’ve simply been IN it. i have quieted so many channels, and wondered if my creativity would flow like it once did, and realizing along the way that it shouldn’t and won’t. i am changed, i have softened, yet found a power so so so deep within that i have yet to channel. 20 months post birth i am still finding what it all looks like, but loving my own energy along the way feels good, so i will start there. 🤍 taken in Costa Rica by @lisa__oconnor
