And when my clients and friends say one of my โ€œfeaturesโ€ is my lack of empathy, they mean it too.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โฃ Itโ€™s not that Iโ€™m evil. In business, sometimes you build and connect on a human level; other times, you wonโ€™t hit targets or scale unless you make tough decisions.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โฃโฃ In most cases, it comes down to people.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Itโ€™s not that theyโ€™re terrible. Often, they were hired to โ€œfitโ€ a position they werenโ€™t truly ready for, or their values never matched the company culture. And the hardest one?โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Finding out their egos wonโ€™t let them be coachable.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โฃโฃ As an outsider, I can evaluate these factors more objectively, focusing on their skills, performance, and willingness to improve.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Iโ€™ve also found people in very junior positions with incredible capabilities and skill sets who could contribute much more to other roles.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Itโ€™s never an easy decision, which is why I always recommend spending more time choosing the right talent from the start, investing properly in onboarding so everyone understands expectations, and giving regular feedback to avoid surprises.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ by @loacosta_
๐—ช๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐žโ€™๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ค?โฃ โฃ Itโ€™s exciting to see revenue coming in, but the real question is how much of it youโ€™re actually keeping.โฃ โฃ When I do business assessments, I literally go underneath your carpets.โฃ โฃ What seems obvious to you, โ€œI need more clients,โ€ is 90% of the time a symptom of a bigger problem.โฃ โฃ It wonโ€™t necessarily be solved with more ad spend.โฃ I wouldnโ€™t even consider advertising if your services and overall experience donโ€™t match your online promises.โฃ โฃ And in most cases, that happens because:โฃ โฃ -The team is not ready to deliver.โฃ -You use technology at 30% of its capacity, while still running the business from an Excel sheet and your cute sticky notes.โฃ โฃ -You canโ€™t maintain consistency because you probably have only one human with all the answers. Or you are that human.โฃ โฃ ***Which means youโ€™re not allowed to sleep, get sick, go on holiday, or even have a two-minute breakdown.โฃ โฃ There are better ways to run a fitness or wellness business, where passion and profit can coexist.โฃ โฃ You just need the right systems that make sense for your business.โฃ โฃ The leak is rarely where you think it is.โฃ by @loacosta_
SAJAN PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL GYM A facility for the family. The original brief was 160 sqm and a few key strength machines. Custom @gym80_uk @gym80international resistance equipment was hand crafted with a timber stack finish, custom stack guards and branded upholstery. Machine spacing and colour contrast were planned to the same level of detail, installed in a way that works with how the family like to use it. Every age in the house uses the gym. The CEO trains alongside the older generation, who have a dedicated space at home for the first time, and the kids, who added their own character to some of the details. A recovery suite with HBOT, red light therapy and contrast therapy sits alongside the training floor, part of the familyโ€™s daily routine. An investment in the health and longevity of the family across three generations. Designed to Perform. Built to Reflect You. by @liftd_design by @loacosta_

Hire people who are better than you at the job.โฃ 2. Be clear on the expected outcome. Show them what high standards look like.โฃ 3. Build systems for leadership and accountability.โฃ 4.
