🏜️SNEAK PEAK ⛈️ (9/15/26) We got caught in a flash flood right before the road collapsed in the Navajo Nation on US-163 between Monument Valley UT and Kayenta AZ. 😅 We are thankfully safe and sound back home in Southern Utah after the most epic family vacation. We drove through so many amazing places!
Starting with Dixie National Forest/Bryce Canyon on our way to camp in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument for the first two nights, then on through Capital Reef National Park, Bears Ears National Monument, Natural Bridges National Monument, and then camping at an incredibly beautiful dispersed camping site on BLM just one mile from the Mesa Verde National Park entrance. After 3 days in Colorado we hit the Four Corners National Monument, on our way to Monument Valley.. That’s where the flash flooding got serious! 🇮🇹 Roma, Italy 🍝🍕🇻🇦💘 As a 20 year old female solo traveler seeing Roma for the first time while couchsurfing with a multi generational Italian family in the heart of the city was such an immersive experience. The grandma and mother cooked us 5 course meals daily. Nona always insisted we end each meal with fresh apricots before dessert. Such a beautiful culture, amazing atmosphere, and delicious food. 🇫🇷 Being in Paris while the UEFA EURO 2016 was live made the experience extra magical! The whole city turned out & up! France kept winning game after game, and in the end they fought hard but ultimately lost to Portugal in the championship. 🇵🇹 taken in Paris, France by @lostinthestok
