Bro Trio, now immortalized on a Guinness pint.
Yes, we got them to use this picture on nearly everyone else’s beer.

Year 33: Day 354.
Spent a bunch of time I don’t have at the @hersheytheatre for “Your Next Act: Exploring Careers in Theater,” a career day for high schoolers who want to work in the industry.

I was at the @actorsequity table, and honestly, I had a blast. The students came with great questions. How do you get your card? Do stage managers join too? (Yes!) What does the union actually do for you?

Short answer: it makes sure you get paid fairly, work safely, and have health insurance. Basically, it turns “following your passion” into a career you can actually live on. Stuff I wish someone had explained to me at 16.

Thanks to the Hershey Theatre for showing these kids every path in this business, onstage, backstage, and behind the headset. If any of them end up on Broadway, I’m taking partial credit. And I hope they remember the table with the pocket first aid kits.

It really is better in a union. 💙

Here we go again. Is it broken again? Yet to be determined. Definitely tore something though. Off on another medical goose chase.

The first official YMCA podcast is underway, with our CEO, David Ozmore, no less. Pretty stoked for this one.

Year 33: Day 351.
Bro Trio kept bugging me to take off work to use their @alienantfarmofficial tickets. Alas, I didn’t have work after all (I put it in my calendar wrong). The last concert I attended was one I snuck into at a conference earlier this year, so this was a TREAT. Shout out to Bleys for being honorary bro.

Year 33: Day 350.
Blessing in disguise that I took my mom to pick up her new ride. I wouldn’t consider myself tech savvy, but my basic knowledge saved everyone a lot of headache.

Going low tech with teens in the Teen Tech Center is revolutionary. Also, I’ve been playing this game wrong my whole life.

This week is a joke.

And no. I couldn’t get another one. The machine said they were “SOLD OUT.”
