Year 34: Day 1.
Everyone should start their next birthday with puppy yoga at @socialpupstudio in Downtown Harrisburg. Contrary to what the video shows, we actually did yoga between puppy playtime. I was so invested in the puppies, I missed a hike with my mom. But, we had some time to get coffee before I went with the boys to @thechocolatierrestaurant and @hersheypark before I got to scare people.

Year 33: Day 323.
I’ve been going to Kipona most of my life - especially now that I can just walk over. But, this is the first year I consistently ran into people I know. Absolutely thrilled to see baby Beatrice (and her moms, of course).
This was followed by an axe throwing double date. I neglected to wear the appropriate close toed shoes, and required an impromptu trip to Five Below for a cheap pair of clogs. I will now be wearing those clogs into the ground.

Year 33: Day 280.
Sometimes, your friends are in town for one night from Texas and you take the brief break from reality for an hour and a half to catch up and then go home to an apartment covered in dog shit.
That’s life.
Apparently, I failed the test to see if I am myself because they all went to karaoke and I did not. I guess I don’t know who I am anymore.

Year 33: Day 263.
We had a baby shower! Actually, two. But who is counting?
This was fun. Huge shoutout to my mom and Eliott (not pictured, somehow), who were not invited, but came and helped me anyway. I definitely owe a bunch of gratitude to the woman who made my cupcakes because she threw in an extra dozen for fun, and she was correct to do so. I’m definitely not a professional planner, but I’d do it again.

It was brought to my attention that I was dressed like Madeline, so naturally, I had to pose with the book. I was blessed with the lovely combination of a rain jacket and a sun hat, thanks to light sensitivity from my concussion.

Because the day wasn’t long enough, I went to JB Lovedrafts for their Jackass weekend. I had been in for lunch a few weeks ago, and they had gotten multicolored, suction back, dildos to play a game with a large dart board. They let me stick them to the bar during lunch and I don’t think I’ve ever been so amused. Flash forward to this weekend, I missed the dildo game by a day. I did get to play pin the underwear on Party Boy and won of free drink, though.

This was one for the books.

For the record my sister started it.
Here’s to my mom, who has been putting up with bs between all of us for over 4 decades.
Happy Mother’s Day from your favorites, mom 🧡✨

Year 33: Day 132.
Today was the first day somebody called me a “podcast influencer,” and I still don’t know what to do with that. Especially since he meant it seriously.
Anyway, I did find my wallet and ran into @nicholasrutherford (they were in the same place). I extended my trip a day to attend the @ohhotsingle recording and mixer. It was fate because as I left the venue, I ran into @theambies red carpet. She was left behind. Forgotten. So, she and I went to a food truck and got some chili cheese fries and a corn dog, then went on a walk while I waited for instructions on where she was supposed to go. Rumor has it. We’re still wandering around the city with a bag full of chili cheese fries.
I was invited to come along with the On Air team for their celebration dinner. The nightmare to get to @onairfest was ultimately worth it, and I look forward to coming back next year.

A break from reality to continue my replacement wife duties. This Galentine’s event was packed and nearly sold out by the time we got there. The solution? Vintage shopping.

Year 33: Day 93.
It seems I’ve become what the youths call a “baller.” But really, I swear, I actually learn things at these conferences. It just so happens that I get to meet, hang out with people, and try new things, too.

Also, I definitely rode the glass elevator purely for entertainment.

Free massages. Free Celsius. Podcast Hall of Fame. Karaoke with the @itsmowpod bros. What an absolute blast.

Please enjoy the menagerie of poor quality photos I found on my phone.

I need to remember to get more pictures with people (I stole these), not just food and funny signs that DEFINITELY have lore.
It took me nearly 48 hours to find a Mountain Dew. This was a glorious moment for me.
