This is a very dear project of mine now published in @slimimag

In a culture where wrinkles seem to matter more than environmental collapse, aging is not just a private matter, it defines who is allowed to be seen, heard, and valued. This is especially true for women, whose presence is so often measured by youth and appearance.

This project is a tribute to the incredible women from @aavoveiotrabalhar who have grown older while continuing to move through the world with strength, creativity, and presence. It is about challenging invisibility, and about recognizing that life does not shrink with age, it expands in new directions.

Big thank to all these amazing women who were so open and fun to work with.

My first cover for @elleserbia

Shot on the coast of Portugal, in the middle of a full week of rain… except for this sunny day. Drove around, with the best team and all the fantastic pieces that @slimi7 sent.

We continue our journey to introduce the incredible artists featured in this year’s PhotoVogue Festival, “The Tree of Life: a Love Letter to Nature,” from March 6th to 9th, 2025, at @base_milano.

The project “Eskawatã Kayawai” by Lucía Alonso Garrido portrays the self-claimed Huni Kuin, or “true people,” now experiencing a cultural revival after narrowly escaping extinction in the last century. Some fled to Peru and remote areas of Acre, preserving their rituals and deep connection to the rainforest, while others who remained in Brazil endured displacement due to the rubber industry. Now, they are recovering and working to pass on their rich knowledge of the forest to future generations. Their culture, rooted in ancestral stories and guided by cosmopolitics, includes sacred practices like the kenes, a shamanistic geometry, and nixi pae (ayahuasca) rituals that reveal the mysteries of life, the forest, and human existence. by @lucithehuman
