It’s really over🥹. This past year has been one of the hardest years I’ve had to endure. I lost 35 pounds and miraculously gained it all back just in time for the competitions that mattered. This year I failed my first class ever only to come back stronger with the highest gpa of my masters journey (3.7) while being in season, working a part time internship and being a full time masters student. This year has tested me but I’m so proud to say I never gave up. I finish my collegiate athletic career being second team all-American, the Dominican Republic hammer record holder and all- academic. These are achievements I only ever dreamed about when I was younger and I can’t be more grateful for all of the things that have brought me to this moment. This year I learned that sometimes the weight you need to lose isn’t always on your body and that God doesn’t throw you in the deep end without teaching you how to swim. Thank you to everyone that has made my journey that much more memorable❤️ I’m not done throwing but I can’t stay here😂 ONCE A GREAT DANE ALWAYS A GREAT DANE! 🤘🏽💜💛 (oh and I’ll be going back to school again real soon🤫) taken in Hayward Field, University Of Oregon, Eugene by @ludithcampos

This path has been a tough one. It taught me that good things don’t come easy and that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. 🎓💜💛#classof2022 #cheersto4moreyears #notdoneyet
