I’ve had the most special birthday this year. I’m so blessed to be able to do what I love from anywhere in the world with beautiful amazing clients who make this life possible and the most special friends who make me feel so endlessly loved. I know that not everyone gets to live this kind of life and I’m so thankful that this is the life I get to live and the people I get to spend it with. COLOUR STUDY - MARFA, TX There’s something magical about Marfa and it’s not just the lights. The sun drenched tones, the desert flowers, that undeniable tough spirit that comes natural to West Texans. It’s hard not to be inspired and see how so much amazing art, music and design comes out of this tiny little town. COLOR INSPIRED BY REAL LIFE. By day or by night @austinmotel is one of the spots where you will consistently find me. Chopper pool parties? Check. Day passes and wifi for working poolside? Check. Tasty margs? Check and check mate. Not just that they’ve thought of all the little details for everything you’d want out of a design forward stay... Cute colourful robes, a heavy handed telephone, bright fun wallpaper that shows its personality in every room. Most of what I love about this place is that it feels human, lived in, personable, the devil is in the details and they’ve got me BAD. You’re not finding ai slop here, the signs on the windows and doors are hand painted, they hire real DJs and musicians for their regular summer pool parties and the staff are friendly in the way that feels truly genuine.
