MY STORY OF HOW BINGE EATING TOOK ME TO THE LOWEST POINT OF MY LIFE 50lbs overweight With ZERO motivation And zero self control over food & accountability for my actions & lack of discipline. Until I was faced with my reflection in the Zara change room, under those dreadful lights. I was lost. I was ashamed It’s only then that I realized how MUCH I was drowning in feeling sorry for myself and blaming every circumstance around me. My hormones My busy schedule I was tired all the time But that feeling of shame that came over me that day, I realized I was at my lowest point & had to make it my mission to put all things aside in my life that did not serve the woman I wanted to become. For the last 4 years my coach @amerthehammer and I have managed to win countless trophies - but my biggest win of all is becoming the woman that was resilient through the pain and OVERCAME it all - even when I felt all hope was lost. I am the coach that helps HEAL other women & allows them find and fall in love with them selves again. If you’ve struggled for too long & you want to break that cycle of shame & find yourself again - DM ME “HEAL” so we can create your breakthrough!♥️ by @lyfcoaching_
Getting shredded taught me more than 15 years in fitness, here’s why 👇🏽 These 22 weeks became more than just aesthetics. The man on the left showed up for the sake of showing up; did the things that needed to be done but never with intention or being deliberate. The man on the right, the shredded physique, wasn’t just a side effect of hard physical work, but adopting a mindset that thrived on challenge. The shredded body you see on the right embodies a man with self-discipline, resilience, and grit. imagine walking into a room and demanding respect from the men around you without saying a word - but purely by the confidence of your presence. Working with fathers, husbands and businessmen, I’ve seen how this mindset transcends way deeper than just the abs. Imagine your kids seeing you as THEIR real-life superhero; Your wife/girlfriend being able to rely on you as a pillar of strength in your home, Your income and business 10X and creating a life of stability for your loved ones. All because you became a man of resilience and commitment to YOURSELF. As we set out in 2024, I am making it my mission to mould the men I work with into fathers, brothers, and husbands who exemplify what discipline and mental toughness look like. Drop a 💪🏽 below if 2024 is your year! by @lyfcoaching_
I’ve been all versions of her. Each chapter necessary in its own way, even & especially the painful ones. Every breakdown leading to a breakthrough, every broken cycle fostering growth & every limiting belief replaced with a new standard for myself. I stopped telling myself what I couldn’t be & started proving what I was capable of. Change is possible, not just for me but for you. Your current chapter is only part of your story. Shift the narrative & start believing in yourself. If you’re ready to write the next chapter but don’t know where to start, let’s write it together 🤞🏼 💌 dms are always open + 🔗 coaching link in bio #fit #fitness #fitnessjourney #fitnessmotivation #gym #gymmotivation #gymrats #gymgirl #selflove #transformation #bodybuilding #bodyconfidence by @lyfcoaching_
WELCOME TO THE LYF COACHING TEAM, JACKIE! This one is special to us. @jackiefit.world has been with us since the very beginning of LYF Coaching. For the past five years she’s been coached both online and on the gym floor by Roxy and Ryan, learning firsthand what it takes to build habits, create structure and achieve results that last. From complete beginner to successfully competing in multiple HYROX solo and doubles events with incredible results, Jackie has truly lived the process we teach. Now she gets to help others do the same! Jackie is ISSA certified and working toward her @csesglobal certification. Over the past few weeks she’s undergone extensive hands on training alongside our coaching team, learning our systems and the standards we hold every coach accountable to. And she is officially welcoming new clients to the LYF HQ gym floor! If you’re brand new to training, unsure where to start, struggling to build a routine or simply want someone to teach you proper form and help you build confidence in the gym, Jackie is ready to help you build that foundation. Whether you’ve never stepped foot in a gym or you’ve struggled to stay consistent on your own, you don’t need to have it all figured out before getting started. We couldn’t be more excited to see her step into this new role and help others experience the same growth she has over the years. Welcome to the team, Coach Jackie!🤍 DM “START” to inquire about training with Jackie at LYF HQ. by @lyfcoaching_
And just like that, my 3rd and final show of the season has come to pass. 🤍 We took home 2nd place!!! 🥈 And honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. I couldn’t be more proud of what I’ve accomplished through this relentless pursuit of improvement. I stood on this same stage just 16 weeks ago — this time facing arguably even tougher competition. And somehow, in just a few short months, I managed to climb from 5th place to 2nd place on a National Stage. The growth. The improvements. The package I brought to the stage. It’s nothing short of spectacular, and I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished this past weekend. Bodybuilding may be an incredibly personal sport, but it truly takes a village. My prep coaches, posing coach, friends, family, coworkers, and even my cats 😂 have stood by my side every step of the way — never letting me stay down for long and always finding a way to pick me back up when things got tough. Because this sport isn’t just about building a body. It’s a mental and emotional game, too. You’ll be tested in ways you never imagined. You’ll discover just how capable you are when you’re pushed far outside your comfort zone. You’ll do things you never thought you would… like adding water to your meals for more substance and somehow actually enjoying it. 😂😂 My coach Roxy said it best: “Come back better or don’t bother — there’s no other option!!!” Say less, Coach. 🤍 Three shows. One season. Countless hours of work, sacrifice, discipline, tears, lessons, growth and a whole lot of showing up when I didn’t feel like it. I’m walking away from this season incredibly proud — not just of the physique I built, but of the woman I became along the way. 2nd place on a National Stage. 🥈 What a way to close out the season. Some stunning stage photos from this weekend ✨ Prep coaches: @roxymclachlan @mrrylee96 @jenpimentel_ @lyfcoaching_ Posing coach: @pose.withclass @angelagagne_ifbbpro Tan & Makeup: @absolutetouchinc @celeste_danielle_ Suit & Heels: @toxicangelzbikinis @firstcalloutheels @canadian_national_proqualifier @canadianphysiquealliance @uditpanchalphoto #FigureAthlete #SilverMedal #Bodybuilding #Bodybuilder by @lyfcoaching_
A beautiful show day weekend in the books. A 2nd place 🥈 finish again at our second @canadian_national_proqualifier together, @amerthehammer and I are very clear on the steps needed to improve this package and placing. While I can’t say I wasn’t disappointed, I can say I’m not shy of hard work & whether we got the card or not this weekend the work wouldn’t have changed. Im so absolutely proud of the ridiculous improvements we made in such a short time & even more excited for the next phase !! I love the growth this sport forces you to face. That’s what keeps my fire lit. Come back better or don’t bother —there’s no other option!!! Some beautiful shots taken this weekend on stage♥️♥️ by @lyfcoaching_
Best of luck to our Coach Roxy @roxymclachlan and figure client @meg.cl13 competing tomorrow at the @canadian_national_proqualifier 🤍 The whole team is rooting for you!!!! by @lyfcoaching_
Scrolling through my camera roll always reminds me how many lives I’ve lived in the last few years. The girl in the first clip could not have even fathomed that stepping on stage in a bikini would be my reality. To now be in a position where I get to help other women build self-belief & confidence is a blessing to say the least. A full circle moment of becoming the person I didn’t know I needed at the time — this is the lens that I coach from. Not the expectation of perfection, but the admiration of effort. @lyfcoaching_ by @lyfcoaching_

One of the reasons I don’t have a hard time being hard on my athletes and clients is because I understand what my actual job is. My job is not to make you comfortable with me. My job is to bring out the best in you. For most people, what they’re missing isn’t more information. It’s someone in their life who is willing to push them without attaching their own emotions to what needs to be done. Someone who doesn’t feel sorry for them halfway through the “hard” or tell them “that’s enough” just because they look uncomfortable. Most people naturally keep something in the tank — for later, for tomorrow, for when they feel better or life is less stressful. And sometimes the people closest to you love you too much to be completely objective about that. This is the biggest reason my husband doesn’t coach me. I love & respect him as a coach, but I need someone outside of our relationship who can look at me objectively, tell me exactly what they see, push me where I need to be pushed and give me feedback that I can receive purely as coaching instead of through the emotions of being his wife. And that’s what my clients need from me too. Being hard on someone doesn’t mean being cruel to them. It means caring enough about who they could become that I’m not constantly negotiating with the version of them that wants to stay comfortable! Sometimes coaching is asking for another rep. Sometimes it’s calling out the story you keep telling yourself. And sometimes it’s sitting in the emotion, understanding where it’s coming from & helping you reframe your reality so that emotion doesn’t make every decision for you. That’s why I can be hard on my people. Not because I don’t care how they feel, but because I care deeply about what they’re capable of becoming — and I refuse to confuse compassion with lowering the standard. Drop a ♥️ below if you have someone in your life willing to push you like this 👇🏽 by @lyfcoaching_
