The end of our little Emerald Hill chapter ❣️🌌

I’ll miss the long walks, working next to the window and hearing box coming home on his bike, orchard BCM at midnight, the exploration of cuppage after dark, and being able to sleep in on some weekdays, up until exactly 16 minutes before I need to be in the office. by @m4nnnny

We went into the great outdoors for box’s 30th 💥❣️🌹❤️

THANK YOU EVERYOJE FOR GRACING OUR LIVES WITH YOUR FRIENDSHIP AND FOR CONSTANTLY ENRICHING THM WITH YOUR TALENTS <3 most particularly @ahmirarshad who was a man with a mission concocting this insane menu, and @neckjack @mangrove____.mood for creating such a beautiful, weird, idiosyncratic to box table arrangement (even if it meant we were staring idly at each other at 2am the night before, with the faint taste of panic in the air), @erinxyf for checking in on me and discovering (as always) that I was overwhelmed and helping print the menus, @jojobhri for dutifully capturing all the scenes through her eyes 👀❣️, @cariellasong and @fatmandaa for being Ahmir’s sous chefs without even skipping a beat, and everyone else for bringing pure energy to the function 🌷🌸🪽

Sitting under the stars together was a dream ✨💫

Before I forget 2025 ;3 it was a big year!!!

This year was full, of time with family, trying new things (running my first trail marathon IN CHINA with @box.rox.ur.sox ), unexpected quality time with some of my best friends (a drunken FaceTime call in January led to some joyful 1-1 time in Berlin with @danfran9 and merrymaking in Italy with @mattjhudspeth @jasmineli.x +++ in March), rejection and some newfound determination as a result 😂, a LOT of texting and calling and yapping with @jojobhri, a short conversation with @kavanspruyt @lelnd which really sparked everything, a decision to put my heart and soul into @_beamworld, the opportunity to go so much deeper in my relationships with some of my closest friends @shayanewong @erinxyf through the lens of a shared love and common goal, some frantic shenanigans like.. getting off work at 615pm, rushing to @rasaspace to set up our first ever community class at 630pm, experiencing extreme anxiety over the floors, the temperature, the lights, the sound, the vibes the energy?! 😆, finishing up at 9pm then running home to pick up our backpacks and get to the airport by 930pm for our red eye flight into an 11 day off road expedition in Mongolia, where I FINALLY got to spend (the actual definition of) quality time with @annelieeeke (the 👸🏻 who pulled the whole trip off) and @nathaliesoo ❤️ 2 of my anchors in life, building a team and multiple work flows, learning about my friends and partners, learning how to work in sync even out of sync (because everybody on this team LOVES to travel), LAUNCHING OUR BEAM BABY, finding a new equilibrium, losing a lot of sleep, working with some of our dream partners, flying to Bangkok to eat @ahmirarshad’s food, seeing @hyungryy cry at his wedding, WAKING UP IN TEARS THE MORNING AFTER THE WEDDING crying at how much I miss spending time together in uni 😂, overdosing on anime and persimmons in Jeju with my bestie, then running full speed into November and December, finding new rhythms, practicing and continuing to love movement, committing and full sending on beam fest, getting a 🏠?! and ending how it started: with my family, far away from everything else.

Celebrating box and the very special way in which he moves through life (alone and !! with me!). I’m so thankful to have a partner 👫🏻 to bother with 253850 intrusive, unfiltered thoughts and random bouts of energy, to take care of me when I suddenly crash (and/or crash out), to lather sunblock on me as we’re lying by the pool, to indulge my unhinged hangry food ordering (and honestly pretty much any of my fleeting desires), to make shapes with, to dance with, to eat, sleep, laugh, cry, and do all of it with.

It’s been a full year of ultra marathon training, moving into a new place, learning the sax, traveling for work, and on top of all of that, being my #1 supporter and solution architect.

Thank you @box.rox.ur.sox 🥺 for always showing up for me without me having to ask, for entertaining all of my late night ted talks about absolutely nothing, for engineering a way out of all of my problems (some of which make me cry), for being so kind, generous and soft, and for continually learning how to love me through all my phases and faces and mania and depression and fails and embarrassments and joys and triumphs. Thank you for staring down the barrel of whatever gun is pointed in my face and holding my hand, always squeezing it tight with confidence.

You’re 30!!! And there are so many reasons to love you ❤️ I’m so excited for everything that comes next :)
