Tell me I'm not the only one cycling through all three of these in a single session 😅 1. Locked in, Getting sh*t did 2. Questioning all my life choices 3. Getting distracted with a new bangin tunez 🎵 I'm a PT who takes gym playlists very seriously. And yes, sometimes that means badly singing with my headphones on, dancing and dying within the space of 30 secs 🫠 Which personality are you in the gym? #bristolpersonal trainer #gymhumour #gymtok by @maetrix.dj
Hey babes 👋 If you've been wondering where I disappeared off too... here's a lil up date ⤵️ GOSH, what a crazy couple of months its been. Between buying our first home, holding down my business, renovating and my own training, I chose to put Instagram on the back burner. 1. A sweaty workout from @multiplyperformance Training program. When your life is too hectic to choose your own workouts, invest in someone else to do it for you (ahem, I have 2 hybrid spots becoming available in Feb) 2. Me sanding the floors in our new house and my sexy PPE. Can honestly say it was a rank job, but the floor looks cute now 💅 3. Lifting sum dumbbells up and down @sweatboxgymbristol - training when I can and not beating myself if my week doesn't go as I hoped. 4. @felinesounds and myself ripping the shit outta our bathroom. We still dont have a sink and we hate our new bath. Lol. 5. Reintroducing handstands after a MASSIVE hiatus. They're coming back biatches, slow and wobbly. 6. Stripping the wallpaper in our gorgeous living room- the house has come so far, can't wait to show you guys around! 7. Playing about on a ferry on the way back from the island in Croatia where we met and have played music at together for the past 5 years 🏝 I think it's important to know when you push and when to pull back (in all areas of life). Like I always say, try be graceful with yourself- treat yo self like ya bezzie mate. Im still full with my in person clients, but I do have a few Hybrid spots available- if you wanna know more about it or book in a consultation, drop me a message on here. Big love ❤️ #bristolpersonaltrainer #bristolpt #femalebristolpt #trainwithmae #housereno by @maetrix.dj
We did a thing 🫢🔑🏡 It doesn't quite feel real yet, but we've been quietly(ish) working our way towards this big goal over the last few years. And, this week it FINALLY came to fruition. Here's to our next exciting (and mildly daunting) chapter as home owners in Bristol. There is much work to be done and we are still in a little disbelief; but the overriding feeling is proudness of one another. Ps, If you are a skilled tradie or have a spare pair of hands over the coming months, we would LOVE to hear from you ❤️ . . . #firsthomebuyer #newhome #bristol by @maetrix.dj
@beat_herder , you were a DELIGHT! The best people, the best music and the best stage @thefantasticaltent.co aka Smoky Tentacles! After a 30hr journey, I'm so glad we were able to shell down some bangers before the insane @omega_nebula_dub essssh 🔥🔥🔥 All the love to everyone who boogied with me and @felinesounds . . . ##beatherderfestival #beatherder #beatherder25 #femaledj by @maetrix.dj
I haven't really done any post festival posts this year and I'm still working on my relationship with social media however I want to give a special shout out to @beat_herder festival for being top of my list. I don't like to show favouritism with festivals but this one really is something else! Smoky tentacles has been a home from home for me for almost 20 years and I have joined them up north for over 10. This place is like the promised land and I'm so grateful to have played every year at Smoky's since as well as sets on Stumblefunk, The ring, the snug, perfumed garden and more, I've also narrowly missed opportunities to feature on the main stage more than once and I dream to one day play the stage that has given me so much joy! Too many lifelong friends and memories to mention but introducing and playing with my life partner @maetrix___ Has been particularly special! A huge thank you to Beat-Herder and to @thefantasticaltent.co for giving me all these opportunities to play with and meet so many magical people and helping make me who I am today. I salute you and the wonderful crew that make my experience so special every year. by @maetrix.dj
Anyone else rely on music to get you through a tough workout? Feels were real today 🥵 First training session in 2 weeks after catching a nasty virus post Glasto. Nutrition has been 👎 with little appetite, heat and lack of training made today feel HARD. It was a recipe for a slog of a session. We got it did and feel better for it, but don't think I could have done it without a helping hand 🎶 . . . . #trainwithmae #bristolpt #gymfunny #gymhumour #onlinept by @maetrix.dj

38 hours in Malta. Social rejuvenation is a thing ⬇️ At first I said 'no'... When I'm busy, focused and on it with my training, my default is to say no to social occasions. This was a prime example. It wasn't until Friday I decided f*ck it, im booking a flight for tomorrow. I rarely do this, so when I do- IT FEELS GREAT. Yes, I'm abit tired- but my cup is full with interactions, laughter and dancing. These are such an important building block in our lives and something that should be cherished. After all, it's about balance and have some fun can actually help you recover! This is your reminder to do the thing that scares you- don't shy away from the unknown, run at it! . . . . #trainwithmae #strongeryou #fitnessinspiration #justdoit #feelthefearanddoitanyway #gymconfidence #startsomewhere #personalgrowth by @maetrix.dj
