CHARRED HOTARU IKA 🦑

Wok hei firefly squid tossed with chilled cucumber & tomato, assorted seaweed, homemade chilli oil & a hit of Chinese plum vinaigrette
Smoky, bright, a little sweet, a little heat

If you thought you didn’t like squid, this might change your mind 😌

🍷 Ask us what to pour with it by @magswinekitchen

Soft buffalo milk burrata with pickled roasted beetroot & thai basil pesto. Bright, creamy, a little tangy, finished with that herb kick.

If you’re doing the Discovery Menu, this is one of the bites you don’t want to miss.

Come hungry & we’ll take it from here 😌

They say a lady never tells her age. Mag’s is happy to make an exception. 😉

We’re celebrating three decades of good food, good wine, and everything in between with three very different nights.

🍷 16 November: Tuscany at Mag’s
🍷 17 November: Decadence – Taking Burgundy to Neil Road
🪩 18 November: Mambo Jambo

From serious bottles to questionable dance moves, there’s a little something for every kind of celebration.

Pick your night. Or better yet, make it all three.

For reservations, WhatsApp 9152 3367.

We’ve never been very good at sitting still. 😅

We’ve always had a thing for good food, good wine, and doing things our way.

A lot goes into making Mag’s what it is. And we’re still evolving, still experimenting, and still finding new ways to bring people together around the table.

A big thank you to CNA Luxury for telling a little of our story. ❤️

Who knew Puglia and Hunan would get along this well? 😉

Our 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 brings together buffalo milk stracciatella from Puglia, heirloom vine cherry tomatoes from Hunan, shiso dressing and a crisp hit of nori.

Creamy, fresh and savoury, with a little umami and crunch to keep things interesting.

A very Mag’s way of bringing two sides of the world to one plate!

👀 Are you ready?

ANOTHER ONE WE’RE KEEPING UNDER WRAPS.

October’s new menu is starting to take shape, and here’s another one from the R&D kitchen.

𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐚𝐠𝐞 — crisp octopus, crushed baby potatoes, caramelised ketchup glaze, smoked paprika and preserved lemon aioli.

A little smoky, a little tangy, with plenty going on in every bite.

Would you order this when it lands?🫣

CONSIDER THIS YOUR SNEAK PEEK. 👀

October’s new menu continues, and this one is already getting some serious attention.

𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐚 — Pommery mustard, fine herbs, burdock root chips and that beautiful yolk waiting to be broken.

Would you like to see this on the new menu? 🤭

YOU WEREN’T SUPPOSED TO SEE THIS YET…

A little look behind the kitchen doors as we work on October’s new menu.

First up: 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐳 𝐈𝐛𝐞́𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐢 — cauliflower purée and shishito peppers.

Still under wraps. But this one has our attention. 😉

Some restaurants are made for dinner. Mag’s is made for the whole evening. 🍷

Come hungry. Pick a bottle. Settle in.

We’ll take care of the rest — with dishes that keep things interesting, wines worth talking about, and a table you won’t be in a hurry to leave.

That’s Mag’s. Come see for yourself.

Flashback Friday and oh, we remember this one. 👀🔥

This was the very first rendition of our Wafu menu.

Argentinean beef tenderloin, garlic purée, potato pavé and king oyster mushroom, one of the dishes that started shaping the Wafu style at Mag’s.

A dish from the early days of Wafu at Mag’s. And what a way to start. 😉
