This was one of those bucket list moments that I’ll always treasure. I remember flipping through the pages of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, thinking “I want to be published here one day”, and it happened!

Back in 2020, I had the privilege of doing hair and makeup for Chef Mashama Bailey for Harper’s BAZAAR. Seeing my name in the magazine credits was such a meaningful milestone in my career.

I’m incredibly grateful to the agency that trusted me with the opportunity and invited me to be part of such a talented creative team. Opportunities like this are never something I take for granted.

One of my favorite takeaways from Mashama’s story was how she found her own voice. Rather than simply repeating what had already been done, she learned to honor her own story, traditions, and perspective; and that’s what made her work so powerful.

As someone who’s spent years building a career at the intersection of beauty, inner healing, and personal branding that resonates deeply with me.

The greatest work we create usually comes when we stop trying to fit someone else’s mold and have the courage to bring our own story, gifts, and perspective to the table.

Grateful for this milestone.
Grateful for the journey.
And grateful for every “yes” that has shaped the path along the way. 🤍✨
