Montreal Marathon, you were absolutely TOP-TIER! 🇨🇦🏅✨

From start to finish, this race did not disappoint! The organization, the energy, the atmosphere, the incredible crowd support, and the course itself… everything was just SO well done! 👏🏼

There’s something pretty special about running through a beautiful city surrounded by thousands of people who share the same passion. The energy was contagious, the vibes were immaculate, and I honestly loved every single kilometre. 💜

And what made this experience even more special was getting to share it with my friend Frank. So grateful for the memories, the laughs, and having someone to share this incredible experience with. I’m also so grateful that my sister Leanne and my nieces were there for me at the finish line. 🥹💜

I’ve run a lot of races, but Montreal has definitely earned a special place in my heart.

Montreal, you understood the assignment. 10/10 experience! Already dreaming about coming back and doing it all over again!

🏅MEDAL MONDAY | MONTREAL MARATHON🇨🇦💜

A new marathon PR of 3:40:45!! I went into this marathon, hoping to break 3:45, but somehow I managed to crush this goal. So proud. 🥹

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… consistency is EVERYTHING.

The early mornings, the early bedtimes (because apparently I have the bedtime of an 80-year-old 😂), the endless kilometres, the sacrifices, and all those days of choosing discipline over excuses.

It all adds up.

There’s something pretty special about setting a goal for yourself, putting in the work when nobody is watching, and then getting to see it all come together on race day.

I’ll admit, going into this marathon fighting a cold and running on very little sleep wasn’t exactly part of the plan. 😂 But I knew how much work I had put in, and I wasn’t about to let a little cold shake my confidence. I trusted my training, trusted my legs, and most importantly, trusted myself.

And guess what? Those legs did NOT disappoint!!! Not a single wall was hit, and somehow I felt strong right until the very end.

I’m usually pretty quick to move on to the next goal, but I’m learning that it’s also important to stop and give myself a little credit.

Because I’m really freaking proud of myself.

Not just for the PR, but for every single morning I got out of bed, every kilometre I put in, and every promise I made to myself and kept.

Nobody can run those kilometres for you. Nobody can put in the work for you. And nobody can take away the feeling of knowing you earned it.

So here’s to another finish line, another PR, and another reminder that I’m capable of so much more than I sometimes realize.

And just like that… I’m already wondering what’s next. 😉🏅💜
