Qadr - godspeed(live)
a cover - manjot
—

Lyrics
I will always love you
How I do
Let go of a prayer for you
Just a sweet word
The table is prepared for you

Wishing you godspeed, glory
There will be mountains you won’t move

Still, I’ll always be there for you
How I do
I let go of my claim on you; it’s a free world
You look down on where you came from sometimes
But you’ll have this place to call home, always

Full Live set on Youtube
Releasing on streaming platforms next week
—

Lyrics
last time I saw you,
It wasn’t a pretty sight

did you find what you’re looking for?
Find me some peace of mind

oh anayah
look how far we’ve come anayah

last time I saw you
I wish we didn’t fight

you don’t love me anymore
you don’t love me anymore
you don’t love me anymore

and the rain pours down
I wanted to walk around the fire

Will you walk around?
Will you walk around?

Lyrics
pardes main dolat
par na koi khandan

Outhai tootiaa tabbr

In a foreign land there is wealth,
but there is no lineage

Over there, our family shattered
Over here, we have no belongings(baggage)

I'm excited to announce my debut single is out on all platforms along with an accompanying archival edit on youtube link on bio.

this project is my emotional dump, an attempt to reckon with the political realities of living in the US. and a critique of the system that perpetuates a cycle of violence in service of white supremacy.
