As the age-old saying goes, less is more! by @manuvitae

The thoughts and stories that we have shape how we see our world and inform the actions that we take in our lives.

The language you use to speak about your intimacy holds deep potential for transformation. by @manuvitae

If you knew that the boom and bust of the passion cycles were disrupting your relationship, would you be willing to sacrifice the thing our culture has taught us to pursue?

Would you be willing to confront your attachment to release if it meant protecting your lover from your moods and emotional hostility?

That's what is available here.

After climax, a man’s body experiences a sharp dopamine crash, followed by a surge in prolactin—a hormone that suppresses arousal and flattens emotional connection. The dopamine crash takes a full 14 days to return to baseline! Oxytocin, the hormone that is responsible for bonding and trust, and the suppression of cortisol, declines more quickly after ejaculation.

This hormonal shift can make a man feel distant, irritable, or unmotivated to connect—often without understanding why. Over time, these subtle changes accumulate, leading to less affection, less desire, and a growing emotional gap. It is easy to, and the majority of people will misread this neurochemical withdrawal cycle as a loss of love or chemistry.

There is a way to bypass this cascade of neurochemical changes—like non-ejaculatory slow, cool intimacy, Karezza, or tantric practices —to safeguard our hormonal landscape and keep love feeling fresh, alive, and blissful! by @manuvitae

I've been pretty quiet about it, but 2 years ago I became a Licensed Sexologist. I've been busy with continued training as an Ontological Coach since then to add more tools to use with clients. I'm currently coaching 6 clients and it's time to start sharing more of what I've been discovering in my research.

I started exploring Taoist and Neo-Tantra teachings way back in 2014. Since then I've studied Taoist Tai Chi, and Chi Gong with multiple lineage holders and masters, spent prolonged time in ashram communities, sat in a half dozen meditation retreats, completed dozens of juice, water, and dry fasts, and am currently studying directly with the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhist Tantra.

I'm going to start trying to give this social media thing a go. Appreciate comments or feedback! by @manuvitae

Some moments from down here in Costa Rica. Three nights of ceremony, Tantra workshop, juice fasting, a month on fruit, Ontology beside a volcano in the jungle, and time with @rekovitae and the family. Life is good! by @manuvitae

My dear,
There's a love from a foreign land
That courses through my heart
When thoughts of you are near

Faraway tales, of simpler times
When peace filled our wild lover hearts

Songs of open fields,
Enter my heart's inner ear
And bright wide skies
When you step near

Would you recognize this tune
If I were to sing to you?

Would it pierce through
To your inner ears too?

Perhaps it has been too long
Since you've sailed overseas
And heard such blessed songs

I've not come here to these troubled times
To tell the common tavern tales,
Or barter in the local town market

For my heart knows only of
An ancient tune
From a faraway time

A song that strings together two hearts
In the silent Light that can
illuminate even the deepest corners
Of the heart

Corners that oft’ remain dark
without the ancient music
Woven and sung in Two

I’ve started writing a new series under the umbrella of “Polarity 2.0” to try to demystify some of the confusion and hopefully create something new along the way. Let’s get into it.

I want to start with the map of the three stages of relating that Deida teaches in his much less-read book “Intimate Communion” that I've ’m going to continue to reference in further pieces.

1st level, Gender Roles; the man is masculine, the woman is feminine. They each only operate within one half of the binary supporting each other as one half of a whole. Co-dependent. I’ve heard this referenced wseveralr of different names by various authors including; bimbo masc/fem by Deida himself, binary, and pseudo masc/fem. For the sake of consistency, I will refer to it as “half” masc/fem.

2nd level, 50/50 Relating; the man discovers and begins to cultivate his own inner feminine alongside his own inner masculine. The woman discovers and begins to cultivate her own inner masculine alongside her inner feminine. In this, men and women become whole beings unto themselves. This IS A GOOD THING! It’s a step in the right direction, but is a temporary and intermediate step. If the first level is co-dependent, then this level is Independent, but can carry with it the consequences of feeling neutral, platonic with a loss of sexual charge if this is where people stop developing. It is at this level of individual wholeness that we can and must learn to access and become initiated into the consciousness of personhood, or the Self, an essential pre-requisite to devotional polarity.

3rd level, Intimate Communion; this is the level of Devotional Polarity and relating. What sets it apart from the first level of binary-based “polarity” is that it rests upon a foundation of 50/50, independence, and personal responsibility. The feminine process is to open into love and close into hurt. The masculine process is to move towards and away from the love of relational intimacy.
