Fresh memories from an awesome day out on trails! Joint victory with the amazing @hauhatrailrunner and finally first place at the iconic @hk100ultra . Third time’s the charm! Thank you ANTA GUANJUN for this cool video showing my journey from start to finish and getting a glimpse of how much this victory depends on the dedication and effort of the whole team and not only the athlete running.

Forever grateful for the best support by my husband @matuglow , the dedicated crew of ANTA GUANJUN, and the perfect pair of shoes by @billythkim . More thanks to everyone else who helped me along the way to make this possible: @coach_scott_johnston @cardsbeargrylls @abovethecloudssport @maurten_official @leki.hongkong @julbo_hongkong

“Love at first sight and love forever.”

Forgot to do my social media 2022 recap! Bit late now so I’ll keep it simple: best year of my life. Wish I could relive it over and over again, even go through all its rough times, just to experience again that one very special day ❤️

Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭
-
Unforgettable experience at the World Mountain & Trail Running Championships in Chiang Mai last weekend! Top-notch organisation from @wmtrc2021thailand, from the opening ceremony 🎆 to all the different events, it was really World Class! The atmosphere during all four days was wonderful, with athletes from all over the world united by the same passion, cheering and supporting each other. Truly a unique sport and community that we’re all so lucky to be part of. 🙏🏽

As for the race, its was pure bliss. Rather than game face and hard breathing, it was all about smiles and chit-chatting. Feeling so privileged just to be here, time and ranking became secondary, the sole focus became to enjoy every bit of the run and make memories for a lifetime. Being able to share this joy with my beautiful bride @veronka_running who was crewing for team Cambodia at the Check Points, made it even more so special. Can’t wait to swap roles and see her shine for Team Slovakia 💙 🇸🇰

I get asked why I feel so strongly Cambodian despite being half French and born and raised in France. I alway like to answer: go ask the kids calling me ‘chitok’ and ‘face de citron’ back in school 🍋
-
Thank you @lauriephai for working so hard to put this together. Cambodia Trail Running was born in 2019 in Portugal thanks to you, and its future is bright under your care. Thanks to Cambodia Athletics for supporting this project ❤️ 🇰🇭
-
See you in Stubai! 🇦🇹
.
.
.
