POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
As some of you may have seen, we recently had the incredible opportunity to purchase Cain — one of the most iconic vineyards on Spring Mountain.

Stepping into the stewardship of a site this special, this well-loved, is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for us.

Cain the brand will continue purchasing the majority of the fruit. But it also opens the door for a handful of other winemakers to work with this truly unique vineyard.

We’re committed to pricing this fruit fairly — at a level that gives wineries the margins they need to thrive.

If this vineyard could speak to you as a winemaker, please reach out. ❤️‍🔥 by @mayadv

✨WINERY PARTNER SPOTLIGHT✨
The wines featured at Inspire Napa Valley are made possible by extraordinary winery partners who believe in the power of giving back.

We’re proud to spotlight Maya Dalla Valle of Dalla Valle Vineyards, whose generosity helps drive our mission to advance Alzheimer’s research and support local care throughout Napa Valley.

Swipe ➡️ for our Q&A with Maya Dalla Valle

Why is supporting Inspire Napa Valley important to you?

“Wine, at its core, is about gathering people around a table. Inspire Napa Valley takes that same instinct and points it somewhere that matters — funding research and supporting families living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. There’s something right about a community built on generosity using what it does best — wine, land, time — to help others. Dalla Valle has always been a family story; supporting INV feels like an extension of that.”

What is your favorite memory from an Inspire Napa Valley event?

“For me, it’s watching the gathering itself — seeing legends like Brad Grimes, Françoise Peschon, Jorge Delgado, and David Cilli all step in shoulder to shoulder, not for recognition but just to make sure every guest felt welcome, well-fed, and well-poured. That kind of generosity, from people who’ve already given so much to this valley, says everything about why this event works.”

If someone is thinking to attend Inspire Napa Valley for the first time, what would you tell them?

“Come with curiosity, not expectation. It’s easy to picture these weekends as just elevated drinking, but the heart of it is the people — the stories behind the wines, and the seriousness of purpose behind the glass. Don’t skip the research talks; the updates from the Alzheimer’s Association and the scientific advisory board are genuinely informative, and they’re a powerful reminder of why everyone’s actually there. Talk to the winemakers, ask questions, don’t worry about sounding like an expert. Most people there are just generous, curious, and glad to be part of something good.”

What is one bottle you would open to celebrate a meaningful occasion, and why?

“If I’m marking something real, it’s a bottle of MDV. We make so little of it each ye taken in Napa, California by @mayadv

Michel was far more than a master of his craft—he was a true embodiment of the passion, joy, and generosity that define great winemaking. He approached every blend with an intuitive brilliance, always accompanied by his signature smile and a disarming sense of humor that made every moment feel lighter.

I will always be deeply grateful for the years we shared—for his guidance, his wisdom, and the many unforgettable moments that extended well beyond the blending table. To have learned from him was a privilege; to have called him a friend was an even greater one.

Sending my deepest love and heartfelt condolences to the Rolland family during this difficult time, and holding you all in my thoughts. by @mayadv

There’s really not enough space on social media for encapsulate how special Gnocchi was to us. He was my little sour patch kid, so brave and ornery on the outside but with the deepest sweetest soul on the inside. He came to me on my 30th birthday as a tiny ball of fluff, and brought so much joy and richness to my life. Always by my side, loyal until his last breath in my arms. He bravely fought and defeated lymphoma three times, in the end it was his heart that failed him. Only in physicality because in reality and spirit his heart was 10x bigger than his body.

There’s so much more I could write but it is still so hard. So instead I share this poem instead that I believe all owners and lovers of pets believe to be true, about the rainbow bridge and meeting our loved ones on the other side.

As I lead you to the Rainbow Bridge, my heart is full.
Though we didn’t have enough time together,
I will forever cherish the time we shared.

“You could stay a little longer, if you like,” I whisper.
“I would love to, but I can’t,” you respond.
“It is my time to go.” We both know it to be true.

Your furry paws step onto the Rainbow Bridge and I see you illuminate.
You’re free of fatigue. Free of discomfort. Free of pain.
This is the way I will remember you,
In your strongest and most vibrant form.

As you reach the meadow at the end of the bridge,
You turn to face me one last time.
“Until we meet again,” you smile, “I’ll be here,
Waiting for you on the other side.” by @mayadv

To celebrate Women’s Month, we’re releasing special conversations from an upcoming episode of Her Way in Napa Valley. Host @kelseyglasser sat down with @mayadv of @dallavallevineyards to talk about legacy, land stewardship, and what it means to step into one of Napa Valley’s most iconic estates.

Dalla Valle became one of Napa’s earliest “cult” wineries in the 1990s, known for producing powerful, collectible Cabernet Sauvignon from a steep hillside vineyard above Oakville. Today, Maya Dalla Valle is guiding the estate into its next chapter alongside her mother, Naoko.

The conversation explores Napa’s evolution, the responsibility of carrying forward a family legacy, and how the next generation is shaping the future of the valley.

🎧 The audio version of the podcast is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
🎬 The video interview is hosted by Todos Media on Substack.

December 14, 1995 was the day I lost my father to cancer. A loss so profound is something you carry with you throughout your life. Time tries to erase the memories and ease the pain but you fight to stay connected to the loved one you lost.

Watching my Mom carry this pain and fight to preserve the memories through perserverence and passion of the vineyard and winery they created together has always been one of the biggest influences in my life. It’s what drove me to set the course to return one day to help keep the spirit and love of my father alive.

After a year of setbacks and immense challenges we faced as a winery, learning I was named winemaker of the year by Antonio Galloni I was both stunned and emotional. It’s an incredible recognition, and something I could have never earned without the support and guidance of those who wanted me to succeed in this business. I truly am grateful, and proud of what we have been able to accomplish as a small family winery. But the emotions came to the surface after celebrating the news with my Mom when I realized that I would never be able to share this milestone with my Father. The best I can do is honor his legacy by continuing to work hard and push forward to keep his memory alive.

Thank you to @antoniogalloni @vinous for this incredible recognition. Thank you to my team who helps me keep this dream alive and most of all thank you to my family who supports me in every way possible. I am blessed and in gratitude. by @mayadv
