RICH doesn’t always mean money, sometimes it doing work you love, helping women feel like themselves again, teaching other stylists something that can change their careers.

Leading a salon and coaching, running my extension business has taught me so much about what success can look like. I’m so grateful for every single lesson so far. I’m open to all the lessons and all the growth ahead. ❤️

3 common hand-tied mistakes I see all the time 👀

A beautiful install isn’t just about getting the hair in …. it’s about creating a foundation that protects the natural hair and wears well between appointments.

A few things I’m always paying attention to:

✨ Too much weight — more hair doesn’t automatically mean a better result. The amount of extension hair should be balanced with what the client’s natural hair can safely support.

✨ Overloading your beads/wefts — especially on finer hair. Your foundation should feel intentional, lightweight + secure, not bulky.

✨ Putting too much weight on your corners — those little details matter. Keeping your corners clean and supported helps the row lay flatter, feel more comfortable + grow out beautifully.

The goal is always the same: flat, secure, comfortable + healthy. 🤌🏼

This is exactly why I’m such a believer in taking color corrections session by session.

My client had been using permanent black color for over a decade, so getting her to this final result was never going to be a one-appointment transformation and I didn’t want it to be.

Over 3 sessions, we slowly lifted through years of artificial pigment while prioritizing the integrity of her hair every step of the way.

Taking it slow gives us time to see how the hair responds, adjust our formulas, preserve strength, and create a much more predictable + beautiful end result.

Sometimes the healthiest route to your dream hair is patience. 🤍
