It’s another CELEBRATORY post and a moment to be very proud of 👏👏👏 James, @hairhimbo has been working so hard to help develop and lead a phenomenal haircut program for our co-stylists. Along side @angiecheathamhair and @loopyie_ they are changing the way our stylists see cutting through a well developed curriculum that teaches fundamentals as well as diversity in cutting. The program has strengthened over the last year and we have James to thank for much of that. His leadership is changing the way our stylists see cutting and the standard he is setting is improtant to our brand. We are so pleased with the work and the growth you have shown James. You are one of a kind and your openness to learning and growing landed you a promotion as LEAD STYLIST over our cut education program! We are so proud of you and the program! Congrats @hairhimbo 👏👏👏 Austin Haircut | ATX Salon #haireducation #haircut #auatinhairstylist

Our girl Claire is ready to celebrate in the best way! @cclairehunter is legally allowed to take her first drink today and we want to give her a big cheers to celebrate the hard work and growth that she has exhibited this past year! As Lead over our front of house, Claire has really challenged herself to learn more about operations, customer experience, and leadership. She’s got excellent organization skills and is on top of all the tasks. We’re so excited to walk her through more of what it means to be in management with our team. She’s so open to coaching and brings a lot of positivity to the team. Happiest Birthday to you Claire! We hope your night is full of lots of “cheers” 🥂. We adore you and appreciate all you do ❤️ #deeprootsyall

Happy Birthday to our Deep Roots baddie boss @collinjae 💓 Collin has been with our team for 6 years managing our locations. The last few years have been spent solely at our Cedar Park location, leading our amazing team there to so much success. She has inspired, coached, and grown the stylists and the team over years and it’s become a haven for success, support, positive vibes, mentorship, and the best company culture out there. Organization, patience, empathetic, systems and operations oriented, Collin is a rockstar ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Both in and out of work, what’s not to LOVE about her! As a @davinesnorthamerica Titanium salon, part of our management team headed to Spain this week and now Collin gets to celebrate today in style in Barcelona! We are so proud to call you our friend and we are so grateful for your leadership and hard work Collin🙏 Thank you for all your do @collinjae and HAPPY BIRTHDAY from your team🥳 #deeprootsyall #cedarparksalon

3 common hand-tied mistakes I see all the time 👀 A beautiful install isn’t just about getting the hair in …. it’s about creating a foundation that protects the natural hair and wears well between appointments. A few things I’m always paying attention to: ✨ Too much weight — more hair doesn’t automatically mean a better result. The amount of extension hair should be balanced with what the client’s natural hair can safely support. ✨ Overloading your beads/wefts — especially on finer hair. Your foundation should feel intentional, lightweight + secure, not bulky. ✨ Putting too much weight on your corners — those little details matter. Keeping your corners clean and supported helps the row lay flatter, feel more comfortable + grow out beautifully. The goal is always the same: flat, secure, comfortable + healthy. 🤌🏼 These are the small details I break down inside The MBWay Method™ from sectioning + beadwork to placement, stitching, corners, blending and creating a foundation customized to each client. Ready to elevate your hand-tied installs? Comment “MBWAY” or head to the link in my bio to learn the full method. 🤎 #mbwaymethod #extensioneducation #hairextensiontraining #mbway
