Please see the full, unedited, and slightly unhinged intro Melia sent to us ⬇️I am melia raine. i am a hard worker. i dabble in things. programming, events, marketing... music... connector of people... seeker of adventure... ball of energy... sometimes.... creature of the night... goodbye sunshine... but recently ive been liking sunshine! i have been partying since i was born. i have 3 cats. i am half malay singaporean and american / polish- i think ah? probably mixed even more. ive grown up in singapore all my life. i am 100% singaporean. i am definitely not american. i swear. i enjoy crafting, making random things, playing music, being a cat mom, i like to laugh and i like to make people laugh. i can bring the fun. i swear. i have many wonderful beautiful creative friends who have shaped me for who i am today and i would not have been who i am without them. my life is wild and i grew up the hard way. i started my journey working in agencies and also doing personal growth, crafting my own workshops and working with people who were my mentors which levelled me up! WHAT’S ON AT RASA THIS WEEKEND 🔊On Friday 15 May, we are hosting a pairing that spans decades of house music history. Maurice Fulton (@mauricefulton), the legendary "Yankee King of Weird House," brings forty years of technical mastery and three-turntable fury to our floor. Joining him is Saint Guel (@saintguel), the magnetic Manila-based selector who translates a distinct Filipino warmth into some of the most soulful, evocative sets in the region. The Floor opens with the bright, rhythmic shades of Daytime Dancing (@pic_niks), SONI (@masahiro_isonishi), and RAAJ (@joshua_raaj), while Hammy (@meliaraine), Koonz (@_koonz), and Snooze (@dmmass) deliver a bouncy, triple-threat session in the Hall.Saturday 16 May sees RASA and Sivilian Affairs (@sivilianaffairs) bridge the gap between two global clubbing institutions. In the Hall, Breakfast Club Melbourne (@thebreakfastclub_melbourne) celebrates their 12th anniversary with co-founder Jmcee (@jmcee_music) and special guest Wallace (UK), bringing the energy of Naarm’s notorious marathon afters to Singapore. We invite Hammy for the first time this Saturday, joining us upstairs alongside 3MZY. Also known as Melia Raine, the Singapore based DJ moves fluidly across genres, shaping sets that feel unhurried, layered and alive, guided by instinct and emotion.Her sound sits somewhere between psychedelic textures and soulful rhythm, shifting between dub, breaks, electro and Balearic house, while weaving in ambient moments or more playful, left field selections. There is a natural flow to her sets, where warmth, tension and release unfold without force, keeping the room engaged throughout.Rooted in hip hop and neo soul, Hammy brings a sense of feeling into every transition.
