Girl, you’re not crazy. It’s just hormones. 🫠

For YEARS, women were made to feel like absolute psychopaths when really, their hormones were just playing pinball inside their bodies.

That irrational outburst over absolutely nothing? Could be your hormones.

Waking up in a pool of sweat? Tossing and turning for hours at 3am? Brain fog, exhaustion, irritability, low libido? Yep, hormones could be playing a role there, too.

And the good news? You don’t have to just accept it.

For just $45, you can have your hormone levels tested at @monarch_nwi and work with their team to explore a treatment plan that’s right for YOU.

For me? A tiny hormone pellet that I only have to think about every 3–4 months has been a game changer. 🙌

Perimenopause might be a bitch, but suffering through it doesn’t have to be your only option. 💁‍♀️ taken in Monarch Health & Wellness by @melissamarshall219

Okay, so maybe I didn’t have 99 problems, but I HAD A LIST, and HRT has helped me cross every single one off. 🙌🏼

Perimenopause can be a B!TCH, but being miserable doesn’t have to be your new normal. 👏🏼

Anxiety, irritability, brain fog, low libido, low energy, fatigue, night sweats, insomnia… sound familiar? These can ALL be symptoms of perimenopause.

10 months into my HRT journey with @monarch_nwi and I can confidently say it’s been life-changing for ME.

If you’re struggling with these same symptoms, consider this your sign to reach out to the team at Monarch and explore your options. 🫶🏼 by @melissamarshall219

Had a little yap session with @kc_bruner before she hit the Hometown Jams stage in Crown Point.

Maybe it was the Hugo Spritz talking, but she spilled a little tea on her debut EP dropping this November 👀☕️
We can’t wait to hear what she’s been working on, and you’re going to want her on your new music radar as well! taken in Bulldog Park Crown Point by @melissamarshall219

How lucky are we that we got a few minutes to yap with @jakebanfieldmusic before his set last weekend? 🤠🎤

With 1.2 MILLION followers on TikTok and 1.1 MILLION monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s safe to say Jake is an artist you’re going to want to keep on your radar. 👀🎶

And after seeing him absolutely crush it on the Hometown Jams stage, we have a feeling this won’t be the last time we see him in our neck of the woods. 🤞🏼

But Jake… we still gotta know:

How did Crown Point stack up against Brisbane, Australia? 👀😂🤭 by @melissamarshall219

DJ Kyndred will NOT play “Free Bird”… but he WILL play “MMMBop.” 🤭

We caught up with @kyndredmusic , Hometown Jams’ resident DJ, to get some of his hottest takes.

Check out the full interview and tell us: do you agree with his takes or are you immediately requesting “Free Bird” out of spite? 👇🏼😂 taken in Bulldog Park Crown Point by @melissamarshall219

Peptides. Can we talk about them? 🧬

I’m just starting a copper peptide serum from @beautysociety AND a copper peptide injection (GHK-CU) through @monarch_nwi because after 40, I need to call in reinforcements. 💉 Will I look like I chugged the fountain of youth next week? TBD. I’ll report back.

I also recently started a nasal oxytocin spray because who couldn’t benefit from a little more of the “love hormone?”

And then there’s NAD+. Glutathione. And approximately 847 other peptides and wellness treatments the internet says I need.

It can be OVERWHELMING.

So let’s make this a group chat. What have you tried? What do you swear by? What have you actually noticed a difference from? And what did you try that was absolutely not worth the hype?

Or are you just as lost and confused by the peptide world as I was? 😂

I’m learning as I go (with medical guidance!), so I’ll keep sharing what I’m trying, why I’m trying it, and what I actually notice along the way.

Welcome to my ✨science experiment era✨. 🧬😂 by @melissamarshall219

I wanted to try and vlog a day in the life of working with @hometownjams 🎥🤠

Is it a little chaotic? Absolutely. But tbh… so is a day in my life. 😂

Enjoy a little peek behind the curtain of show-day content creation: running around with an iPhone in my hand, chasing down content, talking to fans, filming artists, and bopping around like the Energizer Bunny until the last song is played. 🎤📱💃🏻

I sure am going to miss getting to do this for the rest of the year.

2027 concert szn cannot come soon enough. Let’s run it back, @hometownjams. 🤠🫶🏻 by @melissamarshall219

We took a few moments before Sunday’s show to catch up with some of @kc_bruner biggest fans. 🥹🫶🏼

Neemaw, Mom, and sister Cora were front and center at Bulldog Park, ready to cheer on their girl as she took the Hometown Jams stage. 🤠🎶

We hope you all had the BEST time in Crown Point, because we sure had the best time listening to KC perform and watching her absolutely shine up there. ✨

There’s just something extra special about getting to see the people who loved you first cheering the loudest. 🫶🏼 taken in Bulldog Park Crown Point by @melissamarshall219

If you had to describe Hometown Jams in ONE word… what would it be? 👀

We hit the barricade and let the fans answer for us. And honestly? Y’all understood the assignment. 😂

Now it’s your turn: one word. How would YOU describe Hometown Jams? 👇

Before Melissa landed her dream gig working with @hometownjams, @lernerandrowe had already been fueling our concert obsession for TWO seasons. 🥹🎶

They’ve sent us to shows, given us countless opportunities to create the kind of content we love, and hooked YOU up along the way with tickets to experience concerts from their sponsored suite.

So as another concert szn comes to a close, we needed to give a BIG thank you to Lerner & Rowe. 🫶🏻

Long before covering concerts became part of Melissa’s actual job, they gave us a reason to show up, create, connect with all of you, and keep doing what we love. To have a partner believe in what we were creating then—and continue supporting us as it’s grown into something even bigger—means more than we can say.

We are endlessly grateful for their partnership, their support, and all the memories they’ve helped us make along the way.

Here’s to another season of sharing all things local with all of you… concerts VERY much included. 😉🎤✨ by @melissamarshall219
