Today we’re introducing an incredible force: Lorraine Tallman, Founder of Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels.

Lorraine lived through the unimaginable - losing her daughter, Amanda. But Amanda left behind more than a treasured memory. She left a mission.

Amanda envisioned Comfycozy’s for Chemo so kids could receive treatment with more comfort, dignity, and respect. Lorraine took her daughter’s vision and brought it to life.

Today, Amanda’s butterfly wings continue to spread - helping children and families through some of the hardest days of their lives. 🦋

Lorraine carries that legacy with strength, heart, and so much love. It was an honor to sit down with her and hear Amanda’s story.

Meet Debbie Chamberlain, Mindfulness Coordinator at Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels.

She helps children and families navigating pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diagnoses find a way to pause and recallibrate when everything feels like too much. Because “just try to stay calm” is not the greatest advice when your world has been turned upside down.

Debbie teaches simple mindfulness practices grounded in science that can help settle an overwhelmed nervous system and give you a little control back when everything feels completely out of control. They’re the kind of tools you rarely find in a doctor’s office - and the kind every human deserves in their toolkit.

They may be simple. What they give families is priceless 🙌

🇧🇷Casa Brazil is excited to share the next chapter of Casa Brazil’s Light of the Amazon mission.

🌟Earlier this year, we brought solar power to our first community along the Uatumã River. For these families, when the sun goes down, much of their light goes with it. They rely heavily on diesel for generators and boats, and even though they live surrounded by water, they still lack access to safe, clean drinking water.

🌟It took founders and members of Casa Brazil years of collaboration, trial and error, and building trust to reach these remote communities. The relationships we’ve built are rare and incredibly special, and we feel a responsibility to honor that trust.

🌟Now, our next community is ready: 11 Kokama families, approximately 40 people living deep in the Amazon rainforest. We have the location, relationships, and plan in place. We simply need to raise $10,000 to bring solar power to their schoolhouse and village.

🌟Solar power means so much more than electricity. It means light after sunset, access to clean water, education, better health, and opportunity for generations to come.
