Money is just a tool. What really matters is what that tool allows you to do.

I didn’t always understand that.

Through my own financial setbacks, I learned that making money and knowing how to use money are two very different things.

And that’s why I’m so passionate about financial education.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how much money you have.

It’s about having choices.

The freedom to spend time with your family.
The freedom to travel.
The freedom to give back.
The freedom to live life on YOUR terms.

Money is the tool. Freedom is the goal. by @miri.wealthroadmap

Two families. Same income. Very different financial pictures.

Income matters. So do the bills, responsibilities, and habits that shape where it goes.

I’ve had to learn this myself. Looking at your numbers can feel uncomfortable, but it gives you somewhere to start.

What comes in? What goes out? What’s left for the future you want?

No shame. Just an honest look and one step forward. by @miri.wealthroadmap

In a world where everybody is telling you what stock to buy, what investment is hot, and how to get rich faster… let me deinfluence you for a minute. You probably don’t need another investment. You may need a better financial system. by @miri.wealthroadmap

A plan is not there to make you rich.

It is there to make decisions easier.

Should we move. Can we help with the tuition. Can I take the job I would actually like instead of
the one that pays more. Can we retire two years earlier than we have been saying out loud.

Without a plan every one of those sits in your stomach. With one they are arithmetic. The answer
might still be no, but it is a clean no instead of a worry you carry around for a year.

That is what people are really after. Not returns. Fewer knots.

What decision have you been putting off because you were not sure you could afford it? by @miri.wealthroadmap

The question I get asked more than any other, usually quietly, usually near the end of a
conversation.

Am I too late?

Here is the honest answer. You cannot get back the years behind you. Nobody can sell you those,
and I would be careful with anyone who implies they can.

What you can do is stop losing the years ahead of you. Those are still yours, and there are
usually more of them than women assume.

Late is a starting point. Too late is a verdict. Almost nobody is actually at the second one.

If that question has been sitting in your chest, send it to me. I will give you a real answer. by @miri.wealthroadmap

When we were going through financial hardship, I didn't even know exactly what we had in place.

Once I started figuring it out, I had another problem: finding the agent who sold us our life insurance.

It took me weeks. No calls. No check-ins. I didn't even know if he was still in the business.

That stayed with me. Because you deserve support after the paperwork is signed, too.

That's how I approach my business.

Our first conversation? We start with you. What do you have? What are your goals? What worries you?

You don't need everything organized. We can work through it together.

My job is to listen before I recommend anything, and stay connected as life changes.

You deserve to feel heard. And you deserve to know who to call.

Have a question you've been holding back? Message me. Let's start there. by @miri.wealthroadmap

Who inherits the trillions changing hands over the next decade?

A great deal of it is headed to women. Partly because women outlive the men in their households,
partly because more women are the primary earner than at any point before.

The headline stops there, and the real question starts there. Receiving it and being ready for it
are two different things.

Most of the women it is heading toward were never taught the second one. That is fixable, and it
is a lot easier to fix before the paperwork arrives than after. by @miri.wealthroadmap

We don’t always realize how much our everyday financial decisions shape our future.

I’ve made financial mistakes. I’ve learned from them. And one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that making money and knowing what to do with it are two very different things.

It’s not about never enjoying your money.

It’s about being intentional.

Because financial freedom doesn’t begin with how much you earn.

It begins with the choices you make with what you have.

Make your money support the life you’re building. Not just the life you’re living today. by @miri.wealthroadmap

Why did nobody ever teach you this about money?

Here is one example. Your money can be taxed now, taxed later, or held in a third kind of
arrangement most people have never been shown.

Most of us were only ever shown one of those. Not because anyone hid the others, but because the
one you get at work is the one that gets explained to you, and nobody is paid to explain the
rest.

That is not a gap in you. It is a gap in what was offered.

What is one money thing you were never taught? I will answer them. by @miri.wealthroadmap

Some of you asked to hear this one from me, so here it is. If it sounds like you, DM me CLARITY. by @miri.wealthroadmap

What happens to your money if you are suddenly the one in charge?

Most women will manage the money alone at some point. Through outliving someone, through divorce,
through a partner becoming unwell.

Nobody plans for it because nobody wants to picture it. And so it tends to arrive on the worst
week of someone's life, alongside a filing system she has never seen.

Ready beats rushed. That is the whole point.

You do not need to take anything over. You need to know where it is, what it does, and who to
call. by @miri.wealthroadmap

Why do women retire with less, even when they did everything right?

It is not discipline. It is arithmetic.

Years out for children and for caregiving. A longer life on the other end. The same plan asked to
stretch further, with fewer years of contributions behind it.

That is not a personal failing and it is not fixed by budgeting harder. It is a structural gap,
and structural gaps need to be planned for rather than felt bad about.

If nobody has ever shown you what that looks like in your own numbers, that is the conversation
worth having. by @miri.wealthroadmap
