Magic In The Tropics : Decades after the war, Hermione Granger—now a Magical Anthropologist—heads to Southeast Asia to study rare magical beings. Armed with A Wizard’s Guide to Southeast Asian Magical Beings and The Hidden Histories of Colonized Magic, she’s eager to learn but struggles to make meaningful connections —until she unexpectedly runs into Draco Malfoy. Now a reclusive hotel magnate who fled Britain long ago, Draco knows the region intimately. Together, with the help of his local friend Izan, they embark on a journey through Malaysia’s magical landscape — tangled jungles, enchanted hidden villages of the Bunian, underwater cities of the Orang Laut, and the glittering wizarding district of Kuala Mistik. Along the way, secrets are unearthed, trust is tested, and—Merlin help them—feelings begin to stir.

A magical adventure of discovery, healing, and reluctant romance awaits.

Solcrux : a tale of memory loss, soul bond magic and time shifting....with Draco & Hermione stuck in a liminal world where their magic is suppressed but everything is COSY. It is a high interaction, forced proximity, enemies to friends to lovers piece, with a very sarcastic Draco and a very bossy Hermione. They both have to navigate this new *world* they're in (Draco now has to learn how to use the microwave and other despicable Muggle things ewww) and Hermione has to keep up with the bloody idiot - somehow or another, they end up falling for each other. Years pass and finally the truth about their predicament is revealed : Draco has to make a HUGE decision now - how far would he go to save a love that probably didnt happen at all? Would he let it all go - or sacrifice it all - even his life - for Hermione? If a relationship happened in another world, did it even happen at all? Get ready with some tissues, cause you're in for a ride. It is HEA (happy ever after) but imma make you work for it 🥳 WIP on AO3 (miriamomar) link in bio | weekly chapter updates (all the chapters have been plotted) Artwork by me!

Draco Malfoy finds himself trapped in a strange, in-between world with Hermione Granger, and he has no memory of how he arrived—or how to leave. With no way out and only fragmented recollections between them, they begin to build a life within the illusion, where time bends and emotions deepen. As the years slip by and their bond strengthens, cracks begin to form in the fabric of their reality, threatening to tear it all apart. When the truth is finally revealed, they must face the ultimate question: If the life you built together didn’t happen in the real world…would you still risk everything to save it? by @mirrobooks

My new original rom com fantasy fic - up on Wattpad! Link in bio. Ive uploaded 2 chapters! I'll be updating this every few days! Enjoyyyyy
❤️
Nadine is a 30-something successful woman who has GIVEN UP on men. GIVEN. UP. Like, completely. Don't even ask. But then she meets Adri -- hot, smart, funny, and absolutely perfect. Well... aside from his involuntary ghosting abilities. One moment, he's the guy of her dreams, and the next... he literally disappears -- from the face of the earth! Turns out, Adri's been keeping a HUGE secret--- he doesn't just ghosts people, he shifts through time, space, and alternate realities with no control of it. How does Nadine keep up with a man who can't stay in one place? And more importantly, is the guy even worth it? (He is. She's doomed) by @mirrobooks

Feeling nostalgic for the good ol Harry Potter books so I edited my artwork to fit the vibe!

Magic In The Tropics is complete! 43/43 chapters, 70k words. Ao3 link in bio.

What a delight to write :') My first ever complete Dramione fanfic. Lots of pining, banter and Malaysian Magical Lore! If you love an enemies to lovers trope, with YEARNING, and adventure this is the fic for you. Ive also included lots of Malaysian Magical Lore (a nod to our existing Magical culture which I reimagined to be in the Potterverse)

I tried to make the characters as canon compliant as possible, with Hermione being her usual bossy self and Draco with his snarky, sarcastic witty self but as an adult. My fav chapters is when they deal with what happened in the past and how they navigate their past issues (Lets not forget Draco was a Death Eater) and that fateful night at the Manor when Hermione was tortured by Bellatrix while Draco just stood there. Theres also a scene where Draco has to face up with the Gryffindors, and its a scene ive been wanting to write because I want to see it happen.

After writing this fic, ive learned so much about myself as a writer. How much I love romcom and emotionally charged dialogue, and redemption arcs. I love the complexity and layering of human emotions, the issues with having mixed feelings, and how people navigate that.

I hope you enjoy reading this fic!
