I have the coolest job ever. I can’t believe I’m already done with my first year on the department! The time flew by! (No more rookie pranks like buckets of water or flour sitting on top of doors 😂)

This career and my coaching career challenge me and allow me to constantly learn and grow. I’m so very thankful for that ❤️

39 weeks pregnant vs. 3 weeks postpartum & healing🤍

Proof that having a fit pregnancy doesn’t always mean you’ll be able to jump right back into working out after having a baby.

Even though I trained consistently throughout my entire pregnancy, I already know I might not be someone who’s cleared to jump back into training at 6 weeks based on how my recovery is going. It is what it is and I start pelvic floor PT in a few weeks.

I see other fit moms running or working out again 2–3 weeks after delivery, and that’s great for them. But I think it’s important to show the other side too, because that timeline isn’t realistic for everyone.

Truthfully, I thought I’d be one of those moms. I thought my fitness level going into birth would mean labor would be easy, I’d bounce back quickly, & be in the gym doing light lifts.

But after a long-ass labor, and birthing a healthy baby boy, my body is telling me it needs more time. And for once, I’m actually okay with giving it that.

Am I extremely confident in my skin right now? No.

But somehow, also… yes.

Because this body created life. It carried my son for 40 weeks and now allows me to care for that little human every day.

The gym will still be there when my body is ready. My muscle will come back. My strength will come back. And I’ll feel like myself again.

Right now, healing is the workout. 🤍

And I’m actually really fucking proud of this body.

Broc Hayden Terry 🤍
July 26, 2026

Our sweet boy is finally here.

We’ve kept this part of our story private, but after two years of trying to conceive, we had reached the point of beginning IVF. Just two days before I was supposed to start medications, I took one more pregnancy test— and it was positive. God answered our prayers in the most unexpected and beautiful way.

My birth story didn’t unfold the way I had envisioned, and labor has a way of teaching you that strength doesn’t always look the way you imagined. After more than 30 hours of labor, and four hours of pushing, I delivered our baby boy.

I’ve accomplished many things in my life, but nothing compares to that moment. I’ve never been so proud of myself, or so overwhelmed with gratitude. Half of my strength came from my incredible husband and our amazing doula, Cait, who never left my side.

Broc, you are our greatest blessing, and becoming your parents is the most beautiful chapter of our lives.

We love you more than words will ever be able to express. 🤍 by @missashleysarina

The all black outfit really isn’t slimming with this baby bump in full force! My hips feel like they’re crumbling by the day 🙃 but trying to get in as many workouts before little man is here! by @missashleysarina

July 14th. The day we get to celebrate you, @ryyyyan 🤍

Happy Birthday to my husband! The man that loves me endlessly. The one that puts up with my random ideas and stubbornness. The man that keeps us all laughing.

Let’s make the last year in your 30’s one hell of a year 🔥 by @missashleysarina

Lifting with my littles crew! My new goal in life is to have my kids and nephews tell others, ‘my mom/auntie is strong!’ 😎
We’re almost 36 weeks now!! Crazy how it’s flown by!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY WIFE! 🫶🏻

Life is best with you by my side.

You make me feel like the luckiest man alive.

Thank you for taking my name, and putting up with me for the last 2 years!

Only every lifetime to go!

I love you! 🤍 by @missashleysarina

They aren’t the prettiest squats. But for 34 weeks preggo, I’ll take it. Squatting without being able to use your core is wildddd man!! by @missashleysarina

Tell me why deadlifting 365# at the end of my second trimester is easier than walking up our basement stairs 😅😮‍💨
@ryyyyan also told me not to deadlift this much and clearly I always listen 😘 by @missashleysarina

24 weeks into this ‘prep’ and we’re still squatting 225 🙌🏻🤰🏼
Lifting has been such a huge part of my life for the last 16 years and I’m thankful I’ve been able to workout throughout my pregnancy. However, I’ve definitely had my not so good days too! 🤢
