Y’ALL!!! WE GOT OUR INVENTORY BACK!!! 😭🙌🏿🎉

And we truly could not have done it without YOU!
Thanks to everyone who shared our story, tagged @dhlus @dhl_global, and helped us amplify what was happening, our situation reached a DHL executive who happens to be a Black woman! 🙌🏿

She reached out to us, and within just 24 HOURS, she was able to help us recover our missing inventory worth over $15,000!
We are beyond relieved and SO incredibly grateful. 🥹🤎

A HUGE thank you to Tia at DHL for stepping in, taking our concerns seriously, and helping us get this resolved. And to every single person who commented, shared, tagged, sent us a DM, or offered words of encouragement - THANK YOU.
This is what the power of community looks like. 🫶🏿

We’ll be sharing a full update soon, but we couldn’t wait another minute to share this good news with y’all.

WE GOT OUR INVENTORY BACK!!! And it’s because of YOU. 🤎

An update on @dhlus @dhl_global losing $15K of our inventory

As we've previously shared, DHL lost over $15,000 worth of our inventory, including pieces that were supposed to be shipped to our customers.

Since sharing our story, we’ve been in contact with DHL's team via DM. Unfortunately, we have no further updates or information.

We've also submitted two formal claims online per their request, but both times they did not get back to us or said there was no claim on file (despite previously giving us a claim number as confirmation)

We've called DHL every single day, but these conversations have been unproductive, often contradictory, and at times, we've been met with rude and dismissive responses.

As of today, we will also be filing a police report and lawsuit.

For a small, growing business like ours, a loss of this magnitude is devastating. And what's made this experience even more frustrating is the lack of clear answers, accountability, and urgency in helping us find a resolution.

To everyone who has shared our story, tagged DHL, sent us encouraging messages, or shown us support in any way: THANK YOU. 🤎

And to our customers, thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate this incredibly difficult situation. We're doing everything we can to make things right.

We're asking our community to please continue amplifying our story and tagging @dhlglobal @dhlus. We need them to understand that this situation is unacceptable, not just for Zigleys, but for any small business working hard to grow and serve its customers.

We deserve answers. We deserve accountability. And we deserve a resolution.

@dhlglobal lost over $15,000 worth of our inventory. And as a small, growing Black woman-owned business, the impact has been devastating.

These were pieces we invested in, worked hard to create, and were preparing to ship to customers who have been patiently waiting for their orders.

Despite our efforts to get answers and resolve this situation, we’re still left with more questions than solutions. We've now filed the claim twice and both times they either haven't gotten back to us or said no claim was filed. It's clear they are not taking this situation seriously, and we deserve accountability.

When you're a small business funding your own growth, a loss of this magnitude isn't just an inconvenience. It impacts our customers, our cash flow, and our ability to continue growing.

We're doing everything we can to find a resolution and get our customers the pieces they've been waiting for. But we need DHL to take this situation seriously and help us get answers.

To our Zigleys community: thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for continuing to support us through one of the most challenging moments we've faced as a business. It means more than you know. 🤎

Please help us amplify this story by sharing this post and tagging @dhlus and @dhlglobal. We just want accountability, answers, and a resolution.

There’s nothing wrong with switching styles. We have the most versatile hair on the planet! But, if you’d never consider your natural hair in its natural state as a style you can go out in, it’s worth asking why, and paying attention to the words you use when you answer. You can probably start unlearning, or learning, there.

If you want to hear more about this topic, a great page I found shortly after I cut off my hair was @paigelewinofficial

Anything to add to this conversation? Did any part of this video resonate, stick out to, or even bother you? I’d love to hear what you think in the comments by @missdariadana

Our natural hair was always beautiful, professional, luxurious, and worthy. We don’t need gold for that to be true, gold is simply one of the ways we honor it.

Jewelry for locs, braids, and twists. Zigleys started as a question. Why does hair that carries so much history, culture, and pride get treated as an afterthought when it comes to luxury?

Our founder sat down with @authentic_african to talk about what inspired Zigleys, and the real steps it took to bring it to life. Not just the vision, but the work behind it.

Every piece we create is intentional. From the materials to the meaning.

This is jewelry for your crown. ✨ by @missdariadana

2025 was the hardest year of my life.

The things that kept me going were my wild delusion, my belief in Zigleys’ mission, and the customers who love our brand.

Things started improving around October. Among other things, the vision that had lived in my mind was showing itself more and more in real life, and the fruits of all my hard work were becoming more tangible. Things were coming together. October is also when I decided to move to Ghana. It was a huge, bold, and objectively insane decision, but it felt so aligned and so right that I had absolutely no fear or doubt at all.

In November, I turned 29, the last year of my twenties.

In December, I moved to Ghana, and I have been at peace ever since. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I felt this inspired or this grounded. After a long period of feeling like I was drowning, I finally feel like I have come up for air. Just in time for 2026. For the first time in a long time, I feel truly happy, at peace, and at home.

They say April showers bring May flowers. Well, most of 2025 was a hurricane, so I cannot wait to see what kind of garden grows from it.

2025 changed me. I am not the same person I was on January 1st last year. I am more confident, more self assured, far more responsible and organized, while still keeping the delusion necessary to be a founder. Business changes you. We do not talk enough about the person you have to become to make it work. I showed myself a version of me I didn’t know before. I like her. She’s strong, resilient, adaptable, and creative.

Thank you to everyone who has ever purchased or even left a kind comment. On hard days, reading messages or seeing someone somewhere in the world crowning themselves with our pieces kept me going.

I have so much planned for 2026, and there is quite literally nothing stopping me. Thank you for being here.
