I've spent years learning how to care for others. 🤍 Lately, my body has been reminding me that I deserve that same care, too. 🌿 Between painful periods, poor sleep, and jaw tension from clenching, I knew it was time to stop pushing through, start listening and get support. ✨ What I love about acupuncture is that it's not just about treating symptoms, it's about understanding the whole person. Before a single needle was placed, we talked through everything that had been going on, from my cycle to my sleep to my stress levels. 🌙 And yes, despite how it looks, I find it incredibly relaxing. 😌🪷 One of the unique blessings of my life is getting a front-row seat to watch my husband do the work he was meant to do. 😻 After years of caring for patients, he's recently opened a Saturday practice with the intention of making acupuncture more accessible and creating a space dedicated to serving our community. 🙏🏽✨ 🌎 I see the care he puts into every treatment, the way he listens, the intention behind every recommendation, and the genuine desire he has to help people feel better in their bodies. 🤍 Leaving this session, I felt calmer, lighter, and more connected to myself. 🌸 If your body has been asking for support, whether that's painful periods, stress, poor sleep, chronic tension, or simply a chance to slow down and reconnect. Today, I bow to the divine feminine within all of us 🌺✨🙇🏽‍♀️ Every time I participate in fasting during #Navratri—the festival honoring the 9 avatars of Durga—it renews my connection to self, community, womb energy, creation, grace, yoga, meditation, intentional eating, and above all, God through the divinity within 🤍 Within these past 9 days: 🔻 Woken up looking forward to my spiritual practice with consistency and joy 🧘🏽‍♀️ 🔻 Enjoyed sharing knowledge with the community through my stories 📲✨ 🔻 Gained powerful knowledge with so many of my loved ones through my Level 1 certification in numerology with @numerana.english @numerana777 🔢 🔻Rested deeply and took moments to check-in with my body 🔻 Lost weight in all forms—physical, mental, and spiritual 🌿 🔻 Experienced a deep release and relief of compounded jaw tension from acupuncture with @cmn.wlth 💆🏽‍♀️ 🔻 Slowed down the mental chatter 🕊️ 🔻 Shaken off some limiting beliefs 🌀 🔻 Reconnected with adorning myself in colors 🎨 🔻 Remembered that food is medicine and observed how fasting helps curb mindless overconsumption 🍎 🔻 Meditated with my loving partner @cmnwlth.j while practicing yoga from a distance with my soul sister @numerana.english 🤍 🔻 Practiced the power of YES—making a commitment to say yes to everything this month 🙌🏽✨ This winter was heavy energetically, and this feels like a reminder that shifting into a lighter mind/body space happens in subtleties—small wins, little steps, and mindful manifestations. Harnessing light ☀️ Happy Gregorian New Year community. 🫂🎉 This year has been calling for me to slow down, be present, clear my mental clutter and simplify my days. It feels much like 2020 when I went deep within and found more profound connection to community, spirit and joy amidst a chaotic world. I remember when the lock down began and my only goal was to deepen my spiritual practice. Thru that clear, singular purpose, my entire life changed including the frutition of TriDevi. I am ready to shed another layer, 2024 has brought to the surface the versions of me that I am grateful for, yet cannot bring her along on the ride anymore because where I'm headed requires traveling light 🙏🏽✨️ This world needs healing and love to be amplified above all. Animals are a blessing and I am honored that this divine soul chose me to shepherd her thru this life. Found in a wood pile with her 2 other siblings, all sick with crusted eyes, infections and parasites, little did I know how joyful my life would become with Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva entering into my apt to heal & actually healing me by giving me the roots I craved. Vishnu has always been the golden child with the sweetest intentional love, cute head tilt & rambunctious energy when she wanted affection. I used to joke that I should run away with her and live a simple life. She would be the first to greet anyone entering the home, and known for her headbutts of love on the counter. She showed unconditional love & knew when to comfort. I'll miss her cuddles of paws in my face & her pulling my hair at 4:30a with her mouth to wake me up to go hunt because she thought I was doing a terrible job at being a cat. Grief comes in waves but the gratitude I have for her blessing my life is timeless. She transitioned unexpectedly while I was in Bali and my entire family had the honor to recite the mrityunjaya mantra together over videochat as she was taking her last breaths & I was able to express to her how much she means to me, how much I love her and understand that it's time for her to depart her body. I am eternally grateful to @tamarahood for being a selfless and strong friend to take her to the hospital and ultimately comfort and love her thru a very challenging experience as she transitioned, my heart thanks you for staying with her til the very end🫂 Deaths of my loved ones, human & animal, has always connected me deeper to God & thru alot of prayer while being held by Mama Bali, my family, supportive friends & loving partner, I know that her soul was ready to ascend & trust I will connect to her in that quiet place within & find comfort with her earthly absence that she is reunited with the divine. God bless my sweet Vishnu, I celebrate you and honored to share many moments of pure joy, love and connection with you 🙏🏽💗🌸 thank you for sending cats to care for in Bali the day you departed as a sign.
